How does one get to know the File transfer date ? I don't see any such update in my CIC online status.

Do CPC-O candidates get such status updates online ?

You are right. It does not show on ECAS.
You can know it by calling CIC call center.

PS :: Please check all your documents and stamping date in your passports .... Border officers do tend to give wrong dates in the stamp ....
