I had submitted state and India PCC along with the application. I have FBI PCC ready to be sent which is dated Nov 11th 2014. Will see if PCC request is with MR

Yeah actually i had wanted to send it with the application and (did a big mistake of waiting for it for around a month) but then just decided to apply without fbi pcc on oct 31st and fbi pcc came on nov 13th...

Just wanna bother u for one last time..
I have sent my passport too for visa stamping and am expecting it anytime now..And I will be going to Niagara too. U mentioned in your post to take POF at the border.
Now being a student here I paid my second sem fee and dont have 10k in my account(not even near).
So my question is do I have to, Imean is it madatory to have 10k in the account or the same amount we showed?
What if I dont have it - would they refuse me he entry or pr?
What if I dont take the POF?

Any other suggestion?

I am afraid, you will be denied landing if you don't bring POF as per IRPA 10. I had a 6 months statement from my bank, and the officer actually checked all the pages.

You must:

(i) have in the form of transferable and available funds, unencumbered by debts or other obligations, an amount equal to one half of the minimum necessary income applicable in respect of the group of persons consisting of the skilled worker and their family members, or
(ii) be awarded points under paragraph 82(2)(a), (b) or (d) for arranged employment, as defined in subsection 82(1), in Canada.

I have the decision letter with me ( received today ) which states CIC didnt receive my FBI PCC..when i have proof of delivery from Fedex, and entry in GCMS notes stating FBI PCC was received way back in Dec 2014.don't send them GCMS notes. It's not used for these purposes I would want to know, amidst this tough time, since CIC refused the file because of FBI PCC issue, would a letter sent out from myself and attorney explaining the facts make CIC reopen the file ? most likely Has anyone heard of instances where closed file is reopened if there is error at CIC end?yes, they admit their administrative mistakes Do they have phone number available where i can talk to someone?no

Seniors (Diplo / Bat001) I have a question.
I had applied from USA for FSW1 and my file is in the final stages ( expecting PPR any time soon).But, I am currently in India as US visa expired.
so, whenever I receive PPR should I send it to Ottawa or request to change my Visa stamping center to my home country? Will this delay the process?
I recall an earlier post where someone have stated that sending out Passport out of the country is not permitted. and its not safe anyways.
That's very easy. Just grab your RFV letter and passports and visit your local VFS office. Ask them to call NDVO (they have the secret phone number lol) to arrange for stamping at that office.

Also,
The company I am working for right now is US based and they are in a process of applying a Business Visa for me for a project in USA. so my dilemma is what if i receive the PPR while i am in USA or what If I receive PPR and I may have to travel to US within that period. I may be able to manage that but My real concern is about sending Passport for stamping. If you are in the US, you can just send the PP to CPC-O. You don't need to ask permission for that

- what all needs to be sent in email
- what all needs to be sent in mail
- all email content in single email or seperate email?

- email and mail addresses for CPC - O visa office.

Note: medical doctor has e-medical facility.

MrBank not sure how CPC-O processes applications. I'm waiting for MR too (Feb 5th PER). But on spreadsheet we can see applicants from later Nov 2014 getting MRs. Its good for them but not sure why other previous apps are stuck ?

Also I want to update my timeline on this forum but could not find a way to enter that info on my profile page - can anyone please help ? Thanks.

MrBank not sure how CPC-O processes applications. I'm waiting for MR too (Feb 5th PER). But on spreadsheet we can see applicants from later Nov 2014 getting MRs. Its good for them but not sure why other previous apps are stuck ? the apps are processed by different officers, but most importantly it depends on the complexity of the case. What you call MR is actually a positive selection decision based on the review of your eligibility. Some reviews require verification of documents, some trigger a selection interview, so there is nothing wrong in having to wait longer than some other applicant
