Hope you will all get the good news,

I'm applying for FSW this month and need advise if I can put CPC OTTAWA as VO,, pls help me.

I came to Canada October 2013 with Study permit, stayed for 3 months, went back home and came back to Canada this August.

So, I left Canada for about 7 months becuase I had baby, Can I still put CPC ottawa as visa office due to the fact that I'm currently in Canada and have SP for more than 1 year now..

Really appreciate.

if you are living in canada now and will be .. then ur Local VO should be canada only.. CPC one ..

As I am aslo a student from USA i kept my Local VO as CPC as anyone residing in North america should use this vo ..

I hope I am not wrong .. but urs and mine situation is same here .. :)

Hey, can you add your details in the 2014 spreadsheet? It would be easier to track the timelines if you did, especially since you are a June 10th applicant with MR and the latest Ottawa MR in the spreadsheet is for June 4. Here's the link:

Hello Mat14 actually I just checked on CIC website about VO and they state this :

"Immigration Office requested for the processing of your application

Indicate the name of the Immigration Office which serves:

your country of nationality, or
the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one (1) year."

- It says atlease 1 year so as u came to Canada in October 2013 which allows you to qualify to use CPC- O as ur VO but then again u left Canada for 7 months... so here is some confusion..they might dout on that.... if u really one to be on safest side use ur Country of Nationality as ur VO.
