that is very confusing, have any one heard about this primary and secondary office processing the files at the same time thing?AbdelAllah said:

bro can you share with us what exactly was said about the communication that happened in Mid July between the two offices?
Yes it is very confusing, and you are correct I got the feeling they don't know where the file exactly is, this is why I called twice and this is why I'm asking others to check with them.
I don't know what kind of communications they -the two offices- have been exchanging, the agents told me we don't know except they see communication logs showing there has been communications but doesn't know what it is, as she has no access to this information.

is this office related to who still not have fedral step file number ? because i sent my file but DHL said to me there another company there will delivered my file and there is no proof of delivery so how i can be sure that my file delivered in the right place or delivered at all ?AbdelAllah said:
Good point, in fact CIC can access files, as they gave me some information when they opened my file, but what kind of information they can access or allow to reveal, I don't know.

try emailing CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca and ask them about your file, send from the email you entered in your forms and supply all the possible information like full name, last name, date of birth,country of birth, mobile number,mailing address.amrsoudy said:

NO I MEAN when they received my file it was poof of delivered with signature but because the delivery did from partner to DHL there is no proofalmohager said:

My similar experience with DHL, is you may not get a signature of who received your file, but you should get POD (proof of delivery) paper on the same tracking page on DHL website once the shipment is delivered and the name of whoever received will be on it.
Another note for your Amr, I think your visa office will be Ottawa not Cairo, as all new applications for Egyptians are sent to Ottawa not Embaba office (formally Cairo visa office)
