anyone with delayed medical request whose application is of july or august
or any person who went through this delay please advice when to expect a MR request after submitting the updated docs of baby and us too on 21st April 2015
2nd line update was done in oct 2014

Today I got my PPR+UPDATED INFO CHART REQUEST for each family member from LVO...

I have a query guys...please advise me seniors...

I am in Abu Dhabi and my family is in Pakistan. It is clearly written in the PPR email that I need to submit my passport in Abu Dhabi and my family passport in Pakistan...but when i read the letter it is written that "all documents for you and your accompanying family members must be submitted together in one package"

Plus the updated info chart requires details of principal applicant and accompanying family members...

1. How is it possible to submit all documents in one package in my situation

2. Do I need to include details of all family members in information chart of each family member...because our passports are being submitted in different countries...


Experienced advise please...

Hi! Received my PPR request on the 13th of May. Sent the PP on the 14th of May.
My time line is below:
1. File received by CIC: 22nd August 2014
2. CC enchashed: 18th November 2014
3. PER letter: 12th December 2014
4. 2nd line update: we started processing your file on the 12th of February 2015
5. MR & RPRF: 13th March 2015
6. MR received- 3rd Line update: 13th April 2015
7. PPR: 13th May 2015

Congratulations on the Golden mail. Don't worry yourself about 4th line. It will be done. we have heard of cases like that. Quickly go ahead and arrange your passport drop-off

Dear friends,
My status is DM and i am expecting the passports and COPR by sometime next week. Thanks for all the friends here who have helped to reach this state.
Now i started looking out for opportunities in embedded software development and also see lot of opportunities are being posted in indeed.ca, monster.ca and workopolis.com. I obtained a canad local no from sonetel and it is working as well. Using this number in my resume, i am applying for many jobs but so far no response. Wanted to understand what is the problem here.
1. Is lack of canada experience is the problem?
2. Any lack of my profile projection in resume and cover letter which is not satisfying the canadian employers.
I think the response for these questions might be needed by many fellow forumites. pls...pls...pls respond someone who has gone through this and able get the dream job in dream country.

I am also struggling for same...Have you mentioned any local Canada Address ? I think by mentioning local Canada address response shall be good as employers need to know you are in canada or shall be moving soon..Employers are hesitant for outside canada employees as they think they have to do paper work for work visa or all....Altough, we mention in cover letter or mail regarding our probable arrival in canada still they think some complications...As soon as we land in canada opportunities will welcum us...I am also planning to mention local canada address and local phone number (by sonetel as suggested by you)....

Also draft your resume in Canadian format...Use Linkedin to get in touch with similar professional ... Your suggestions are also welcomed....

2nd Line update: 28th Feb 2015
"2.We started processing your application on February 25, 2015"

Anybody whose 2nd line updated on 28th Feb still waiting for MR?

I have a doubt in my mind regarding RPRF fees receipt.
I sent my documents last month to NDVO after getting my medicals done.I paid my RPRF fees through my dad's credit card and received the receipt in my mail.It was mentioned on that receipt to send it along with the cover letter and the documents and to kept one copy with me.And it is also mentioned that its not necessary that the name on the receipt should match with the applicant.
The mistake I did is that I have not written any details on the receipt (like DOB,UCI No,Address,phone no etc).My last date to send the documents was 17 May 2015.
Can it be a problem?
Although I got my third line updated that the medicals have been received.

Yes, my friend . In my case also , I got the PPR on 13th May 2015 and the DM status got updated on 17th of May . so don't worry about that .
