FSW 2014 August Applicants

Hi Friends,

I am also a Canada PR aspirant like everyone else in this forum.

Following are my timelines in ECAS:

1.We received your application for permanent residence on August 13, 2014.

2.We started processing your application on January 30, 2015.

3.Medical results have been received.



I did my medical examination on 9th March 2015 and on 13th March I saw in ECAS the status is updated to " Medical results have been received " .Since then , i am waiting for PPR .

I changed my organization in January and updated the NDVO about my new job and company .

Is there anyone with same timeline ?

Experts, can you please tell whether i am the only one who is waiting from past 2 months for PPR or is this the normal time which New Delhi Visa Office takes to process the application even after receiving the MR,PCC,RPRF also .

This is the normal timeline for requesting PPR. Relax until you get PPR.
Though u have changed Org before getting PPR, but it doesn't stop you getting for PPR.
Generally, PPR will get in 2-3 months once you get MR.
I have heard from this forum that ND is speeding up the FSW-14 applications.
So, hope you get the PPR soon.

I have my medical exam coming in few weeks. Can you please advise me with the pcoess involved here. Also, do I need to send some docuemnt back to CIC apart from fee - RRPF.

Dear GUrjeet,

Just locate authorized doctor panel in your city or nearby city....Produce the medical request letter to doctor they will do the required examination....After examination they will provide your stamped paper to submit back to high commission....You have to make DD of RPRF or u can pay RPRF online...They may also require Police clearance for all the accompanying members...

Provide all required documents as per the email of Canadian high commisison...

I have made the appointment with CIC penal doctor. Looks like the results will be submitted by him online. I will pay the fee online. The passport copy (biopage) requested by CIC, I have sent it via email. Should I send a hard copy of same in regular mail.

Also, do I need to send them a copy of receipt if I pay the fee online. Appreciate your help.

While many of us(including me) are waiting for PPR , i wanted to know your opinion of sending the passport via bluedart Vs giving it to local VFS.
Just want to explore this option of bluedart, have people used it? and how is the passport delivered back to you if u send it to Delhi via bluedart( by speedpost or bluedart or something else). Also, do we have to send the passport to Delhi immigration section if we send it via bluedart directly?

The safest way to send your passport is, through VFS global. I recommend to send it through VFS. after submission you can collect it in person or ask them to courier it.
