My Timeline :
Application : 07 August
PER : 03 December
ECAS 2nd Line : 05 February
MR : 21 February

Guys please suggest below things:
1) Should I pay RPRF online or Draft is better ?
2) Whom to address this draft?
3) My wife is pregnant. Do I need to send a mail to NDVO or the medicals done will only solve the purpose?
4) I should send Passport Biopages + Medical (that will be uploaded by hospital) + ???

First of all, congratulations for MR. Below are my suggestions:

1) I paid RPRF through Credit card, reason its faster and no hassle of waiting when DD is encashed. DD is another mode of payment.
2) Sorry, not sure. Experts pls chime in
3) I would suggest you to inform VO before medicals. Even the panel physician will not do x-rays for pregnants. It may delay the process for few more months. Experts pls advise
4) Yes, passport bio-pages (for self and dependants), RPRF paid, medical proof of completion and the cover letter. If the cover letter states any other document, pls send that too.

First of all, congratulations for MR. Below are my suggestions:

Hi manish1986. Congrats on your MR. You do not need to inform the NDVO about your wife's pregnany. its only when she delivers her baby that need to inform them so that you can accommodate the new baby in your immigration update. Pregnant women have done their medicals without any hitch. they will not be scanned in the womb, the report from the practitioner will reflect that she is pregnant.

Today I checked my ecas status and it shows that we have started processing your application on 19 Feb .

I have 2 questions here:

Does This means that VO has completed verification and their checking process which they do before sending MR mails?

Does this means now I will be surely getting MR mail just that I have to wait patiently and keep checking my inbox?

Would appreciate experts advice here.

You have to write your Local VO with a subject line - (File Number) (Name) - FSW Application and the email body should have the following information;

file number -
UCI Number -
passport number -
full name -
date of birth -
mailing address - (Changed Address)
e-mail address -
telephone -
nationality -

You can get the email ID of your local VO from your local VO website.

2nd line update probably on 20 Feb 2015

It means that the local VO initiates the "background check and security check" once the VO confirms this and gets satisfied with the information provided by us, issues the request for medical. If the local VO needs some more information or finds the information untruthful then it may call for additional documents or sends an invitation for an interview along with additional documents (which happens unlikely). This process usually takes around 12 - 15 days (Depending on the VO). lets say if your application process has started on 20th Feb then you can expect to get the MR mail during first week of march. Do not worry.

Dear iqjotgirgla,

Its sad to hear about your case. However, statistics over hundreds of applicants shows that the MR email post second line update takes anywhere between 12 to 18 days.. If it is a coincidence, i hope this keeps repeating for all of us.. and I hope you get your MR ASAP!!!

I m 5th August applicant....processing started on 6th feb and was updated on 10th feb....I m waiting for MR :-[......hoping n praying that I get it soon this week....all the best to all.....god bless us all....

Please advise all the documents should (PCC + RPRF receipt/dd + med receipt = bio pages ) be sent along in a single courier or as the documents come to me I shd sent it as PCC will tke time?
Also the address as mentioned in the cover letter for NDVO is where the courier shd be sent ? And for the same e-mail shd be done ???

Lastly DD or online payment can be done in Indian Rs na ??? N wts the exact amount of RPRF ??? as if we go by CAD 490 for each person the value will differ as per existing CAD value...
