Yeah, I guess VO Brazil is processing less than 500 applications in total... a lot less compared to India and China for example! :)
Thanks for all the whishes man!

Bro,

any update from your side. You manage to call CIC for your UCI #?

Appreciate you can update your profile to show your timeline on the left.

Thanks ;)

Hi Augustians,

Congratulations fabioadias! That's fast wow :)

I got something like an "update" on my FSW 2014 application yesterday. A short letter from CIO informing me that I've paid 40 CAD extra through the demand draft and they will refund it in 16 weeks time.
The bank made too many mistakes when issuing the DD, I made them redo it 3 times. When finally they got the beneficiary's name correctly, I was so happy that missed to check the payment amount :o

The letter came by snail mail. It is dated 31 December 2014. I hope this letter means that my application has passed the eligibility review i.e. the visa fee will not be refunded due to NER.

It is strange that CIO sent me a snail mail because they have my email ID and used it to send my application and UCI numbers.

I haven't received PER email yet. I wonder how many applicants got file transfer to VO without receiving PER emails?

dmac thanks for asking. I tried calling. I would have called at least 6 times but every time they say that they cannot provide any information. Then I sent them an email at the start of December 2014. Still waiting for their reply.

My application was received there on 28 August 2014. Nothing after that. Not sure, how they are processing the applications.

The only thing I can do is wait patiently since another forum says that if I have still not received NER, it simply means that the processing is taking time. In any case this is the only thing I can do.

Lets hope for the best :)

good to hear,,,did you try to check your ECAS using your UCi number you got...what did it tell you when you checked...you remember i told you not to conclude so soon that you were out of the game..in this Canada dream a lot of patience is needed.

Less thn 500 applications is really amazing...ur VO should take some applications from LVO and NDVO to process them fast as well :)
