Hi and congrats! Your PER is on the way

Just wondering what did you say to the agent to get the UCI?
Coz accdg to my friends experience who phoned in 3 times already, the agents tell him each time that they have no access on fsw info and told him to send an email instead..

thanks a ton for keeping my hopes alive. I called them and didn't ask for the status. Instead I asked them for my UCI point blank. A lady picked up and after checking her documents or god knows what she was kind enough to give me my UCI. So I suggest, whoever calls CIC, don't ask for the status. Just ask for the UCI number. At least something is better than nothing I suppose.

Hi... I called +16139444000.
They just gave me my UCI number. With this UCI number when I checked my CAS status, it is showing "IN PROCESS" and further clicking on it, it shows "WE HAVE RECEIVED YOUR APPLICATION FOR PR ON XYZ DATE".

Now I am wondering, what this means. I mean what's my current status. Have I already been charged and 'ELIGIBILITY REVIEW' is ongoing or does it mean that both 'CHARGING' and 'ELIGIBILITY REVIEW' are done. And now I have to wait for the PER mail?

THIS MEANS YOU CC IS CHARGED AND THAT MEANS YOU HAVE PER. BECAUSE MY CC IS CHARGED ON 20TH NOVEMBER AND RECEIVED PER ON 12 DEC AND I CAN SEE THE SAME INFORMATION IN MY ECAS . SO BE SURE YOU WILL RECEIVE PER EMAIL SOON

Thanks for your reply. What I understand is that a usual language that CIC uses. "In Process" and then "We have recvd your application......." Wondering what that really means. I mean what status does it really signifies...Any expertise???

This only means that the application and supporting documents submitted were found to be in order and thus fees has been charged. PER is issued once the eligibility review is done, normally 3 weeks after payment. When file is transferred to VO and the VO starts processing the app will the status change to "we have started processing your file on xxxxx".

My application was received by the authorities on 20th August 14. The DD has debited my ac on 25th Nov 14. I am still to here about the File no. It has been 4 months now.

What does DD debit indicate? Are they sending medical & PCC request with file no?

Could you guide me what will be the process post receiving the file no and the approximate time involved in getting a VISA?

Hi. I am regular follower of this site although writing for the first time. Actually I need some expert advise.
I have applied for FSW 2014 with the following details.

Application rcvd at CIO (Sydney Nova Scotia): 28th August, 2014
NOC: 1123
Mode of Payment: DD

I have not rcvd any PER mail, neither do I have any idea if I have been charged or not. I tried my best to know from my bank but in vain. The only thing I got is my UCI number after calling CIO office 3 days back. Upon checking my CAS status I see that it is showing "In Process" and when I click on it, it further shows "We have received your application for Permanent Residence on XYZ date".

Could anybody please tell me what this means. Does it mean that I have been charged already and 'Eligibility Review' is still on or does it mean that 'Charging' and 'Eligibility Review' are both done and I can wait for my PER mail?

Utterly confused. Your guidance and feedback in this regard is highly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Even after receiving PER the status will remain same until the file is transferred to local visa office...In my view, you Eligibility Review is completed and your PER is on the way...it may land anytime.

Only extra-ordinary lucky august applicants can receive Medical request....those can be expected in January.

You will receive PER first...then file will be transferred to the local visa office, who may ask for PCC / MR...

You should keep on praying for your PER to come as soon as possible.

Thanks , It is natural just 04 months ( 120 days ) passing , I got my PER after 110 days . Hope will get soon , Pls. update SS then expert will give opinion .

Hi there,

It depends on which VO you are processed. I assume you are from NDVO (New Delhi). Apologies, i don't have the correct email add for the particular VO. I hope someone from the VO will assist you on this.

Finally received my PER email a few minutes back. My details are as follows:-

NOC : 2171
App received date : 29-Aug-2014
DD encashed :-19-Nov-2014(as per PER email)
PER received :- 19-Dec (112 days from date of application and 30 days from charge date)
