Thanks ksa. Since you seem to have good knowledge, I had one question. I have applied on 28 August under 5125 and my cc has still not been charged. Similar is the case for another person, whose application was submitted on 30 July under same category. What does that signify? I think that the processing is random and moreover the processing is taking time cos yesterday someone had received PER for a category which was closed more than 2 months back.

I guess that may be normal. What do you think?
As mentioned processing is random.
CIC is working on highly demanding NOCs at a faster pace
but a bit slow on other NOCs.
Hopefully,in 2 weeks time other NOCs will pick up pace wise.
Good luck.

I am August 27 applicant . I made two mistakes

1. In wife's background form , i wrote Chittagong instead of Bangladesh in her parents details.
2. In the travel form I wrote the names of my children who are not above the age of 19 and clicked did not travel.

I think these two mistakes will jeopardize my application.

Like other offices CIC will operate with skeleton staff.. will be a freeze period from mid dec till first week of Jan all over the offices not only in CIC ...as people goes on vacation mostly during this period. Government agencies don't close over the holidays- the only time we should expect almost a complete stop in service delivery is during statutory holidays.

thanks.. well that's a relief

Yes. Even I have heard everyone saying that they got the PER through email. Btw one person got the PER on a Saturday, which means that time is not a restriction.

Yes i recall reading that post that received PER over the weekend. i assume its the server who sends email ( with apology to the technical person-its my own assumption) slowly. o\Otherwise, why CIC will take burden of working over the weekend- or they might equally excited to get us (kidding 8))..

friends lets pray for each other and hope for the best. its good to think good :)
