FSW 2014 August Applicants

PER is being issued to Aug right now as we have read about 5 August applicant with PER.
As regards 15th August,your PER will be sent very soon.The date in Dec can't be definitive
but am looking at 2nd week in Dec.

Actually hoping to receive the golden email during the 1st week where my birth date falls. Will be the best gift for this year. Then again as long as everything falls in its place at the right time.

If you send an inquiry to CIC on application status and you receive a reply with #1 & 2 above,that is

This will displace the date your application was received at CIC.
The next stage is to wait for further instructions from your local visa office.

Hi bro, actually during the stage of C-check. For those application that were considered incomplete and found to have some discrepancies, won't receive any email from CIC. The only to know is when you received you package back. Unless, for some members here who have sent an email inquiry regarding their status and got a reply from CIC normally 45days. Upon which the email indicates that they have sent back their app along with all the attached docs on the date stated.

But most of the time, applicants only found out when they received back the package.

But we don't want to think that way. Keep your hopes up and continue to pray..

Last year I applied under FSW and 3 moths after my application was send I was found ineligible. Received e-mail from CIC explaining that I was ineligible.
I have never get my application package back. They send me my cheque 4 months later though.
I was told by forum members that I will receive my documents back but I never received them.

I applied for FSW again this year. My application was received on August 13th. Check with my bank, they told me the DD was encached. I used Canadian bank. I check on 20th November at the bank, but they were not able to tell me the exact date when the DD was encached.
I hope this to be good sign but still am waiting for PER.

I believe your PER will land in your inbox within this week bro. Just today there was a 5th aug applicant received his PER. not sure, if CIC is giving PER randomly again same as the random charging previously.

Hello all - I would like to share the news from my side. I got PER mail from CIC today and would like to thanks everybody here for helping me on each step.

Details for my applications are:
1. Application Date: 31st July
2. CC Charged: 7th Nov
3. PER mail received: 25th Nov
4. NOC: 2171

However, inspite of this great news, I would like to get the input on one of the issues that I am coming across. Request all the experts on this forum for the helping hand.

Problem is: My Passport is getting expired in Sept, 2015. And with the pace, I think it will take another 2-3 months for the complete process. And as I understand, I would be getting the VISA for one year or until Passport expiry date (whatever is early). Also, we have a fact that we cannot travel for the six months prior to Passport expiration and we need to go for its re-newel process. Therefore, I will be in problem in Jan-Feb because of this scenario. Please help me if I should get the passport renewed asap before the MR and how shall I update CIC for this change. On the Application Status site for CIC, I only see the option for changing the mailing address and nothing to contact them in case of other problems.

PLEASE SUGGEST ASAP!

where it is mentioned that we cannot travel for the six months prior to Passport expiration.

I mean is it a requirement for traveling to Canada or any country from India?

Congratulations for PER! Good luck for rest of the process. Please get your passport renewed within a month to avoid any unwanted delays in process. Thanks!
