FSW 2014 August Applicants

Friends,
I got a reply on Oct14th from CIO for my email on 27th Aug for status.
--Unable to find your file in our records, Your file may be in initial processing--

What it means
1) They have not touched 15th Aug applicant till 14th Oct.
2) Completeness ok, kept for charging queue, so not updated in system as returned.

Pls compare the below case and tell 15th Aug file completenss finished or not touched on 14th Oct. I think one Aug 27th App returned on 25th Oct unfortunately.

Hi All..i am 15th AUG applicant, NOC 2173. I have come through a post in the FSW2014 thread that 2173 would have been capped by 08 AUG 2014. I think this prediction is lilttle exaggerated coz every week when CIC was updating the caps the averge number of 2173 applications were around 50. If we look at the cap update upto 3 july applications..its count was around 425. so by going this flow till august there are 8-9 weeks left and each week might have 50-60 2173 applications so 9x60 = 540 + 425 = 965 applications or we can round off it upto 1000. So my point is 2173 can not be capped till the start of AUG.

Hi Friends, I understand all points. But recently many people mentioning BC as a issue for return of application. However most of us kept Xth mark sheet as per their requirement.

Just asked for recent charge who kept Xth marksheet instead of BC.
Sorry if this panic you friends. Let us wait, finger crossed.

Guys the fear is real.. It depends on the officer assessing your application. At the time of preparing my application, I had gone through multiple threads on the forum -

Net outcome was to send a Marksheet, Parent's Affidavit and School Leaving certificate as a proof of birth. I had attached a letter also from my wife's school on their letter head mentioning her DOB as per their records.

I called the Canada number shared earlier.
Waited almost 20mins and then one agent entertained me.When I enquired about UCI number his answer was plain 'We cant disclose you anything right now.He doesn't have any access'.How you guys manage to get UCI number.Any advice or help is highly appreciated..

I called the call centre twice. At first they couldn't find my details but at the second go they got it.

So I realised that you have to spell your name correctly, as Indian names are not very easy to guess. Unless they find exact match they won't reveal any details.

But calling CIC can only ensure you that your application have an ID and nothing else. They wont tell you about stage of the process.

Even with the UCI, there isnt anything on the website.. we can see only after the CC is charged..

Since day 1,I've submitted my application till today I've been addicted to my system
more than ever before.
This is how the FSWP fever is upon all applicants.
