perukulla said:Dear friends,
I am posting this message again. I am expecting an offer from quebec employer, is it possible to land and work with this employer in quebec with FSW COPR and visa. can someone else please help me to take decision. If not what are all the things i need to get so still i can utilize this offer.
perukulla Congrats on your Visa. My application is still in process...so I may not be an expert enough to counsel you but I will guide you based on my small knowledge. FSW is different from QSW. You need English or French or both for FSW, but you need only French language expertise for Quebec. I will advise that you land in Ontario or other English speaking Canada first and get settled for a couple of weeks or months before Quebec employer calls. You can get yourself engaged in some short bridge programmes for New Immigrants while you wait for your job offer from Quebec. But Let them know that you are already in Canada. If you land first in Quebec region from your country, you may have problems with immigration based on your language orientation. It will be quite easy for you to travel to the Quebec region to get fixed for the job offer from whichever English speaking area you have been residing, because you are already a PR card holder for Canada. and there will be no restrictions. You can only be restricted if you entered through a PNP programme where you signed a pact that you will never leave the region until after about 3 years. Know that as a PR card holder in Canada, you are eligible to work in any part of Canada whether Quebec or otherwise.
