Just Got MR..

11 aug - app date
2 dec - per
14 mar - mr
noc - 0121

I have a question:

I submitted a PCC from Passport Office with my app. The mail I received from NDVO states the undermentioned:

Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period

has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance

certificate from INDIA.

I have lived in 3 states in India.. does state here mean states within a Country or its a alternate term used to mention country..

I mean do i need 3 pcc from 3 states in India or just 1 PCC..

Pls assist..

Got my second line update today, though the site says- Second line updated on 5th March.

My details are as below

Category - 1123
Appl recd at CIC - 28th August
PER - 16th Dec
First line update - no idea... maybe end dec
Second line - 5th March

Waiting for MR as of now... All the best to all of you dear friends...

If you have stayed outside India in a country for more than 6 months continuously, then you have to provide PCC from that country.

Hi Guys,

I received my MR today. NOC 2171. NDVO. There are certain complications though w.r.t my forms etc.. which would delay my process a bit, but thought would let you know all that it has come in for me as well.

Thanks to all the folks for sticking around. Let's hope best for the next steps ahead!

I am August 20th applicant (NOC 2171) and PER was received on December 9th. I am still waiting for medical request.

Two questions -

1. when should I expect medical request
2. what is second line update and how does that look like.

You need to go to ecas to check if ur second line is updated
Dont worry, u will soon get mr.

In my MR letter they asked me to pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee. Now, how much is that?

Is it something that I have to pay over and above of CAD550 that i paid during application?

And how much does the medical test cost in India?

I'm August 5th applicant but no Second line update and no MR. Visa office is London. They asked for Schedule A form on 12th feb but after that no response. When should I expect the MR and second line update?

Dear Supriya,

Congrats for the MR. RPRF is CAD 490, which you can pay through a DD or through online via. http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/information/fees/index.asp

With regards to the Medical charges, it might vary from state to state. However, Medicals above 15 years would around Rs.4100/-

Dear Gurjeet

Hope you are doing good. Second line update mean in ECAS, you will get the second line added stating that," We have started processing your application on MM DD,YYYY.

The second line shows that the local VO has started processing your application at their end. Local VO performs the background check and security check during the processing of reviewing your application. Once the local VO is confirmed that the information and supporting documents are accurate, it issues the MR/RPRF request through email.

You will get the second line update soon. Please be relaxed.
