Dear Seniors,

Just got an email from LVO that the photos are not as per specification (even though it was taken by a professional photographer) and also i noted that my middle name is spelled incorrectly.

Please advise.

Nothing to worry. Please follow the instructions in the email.
You will have to take new photos and then send it to the address mentioned in the email.
In the same mail please send a passport copy and mention about the misspelled name.

Dear friends need urgent help.

Today received email from cic. They ve asked to re submit "schedule A back ground declaration".

They are asking to specify what i was doing during the period intermediate exams and also after Gruation exams...

Basically ive written the date of exams in the form due to which it seems like tht there is a gap which is not actually the case.. this was how system work at tht time i gave exams in may.. result announced in septmbr and admissions of graduation strtd in oct-nov.. and classes started from january.. similarly it looks like a gap after graduation which actually is not.

there is no gap but it seems like one.. plz suggest how to respond.. can i attach extra sheet with form to explain my point of view??

This is how I filled wherever there is a gap - Worked on better career prospects
For me this was only from the time I was graduated and then joined my first job.
You can fill in the sheet and then also provide explanation why it felt like a gap.

I believe they check it to assess if they are accurately in comparison with your application. If you wish to make it active, i suggest that you try to update your profile to show your current status.

I remember reading someone's post and reported that there was an applicant who was asked to go for an interview, and highlighted this LinkedIn account thing. If i remember it correctly, he was an FSW2013 applicant. Due to his account stating that he was doing some part time work as a lawyer for which he never mentioned in his PR application. He then confirmed that he was doing such but did not bother to indicate in his file.

I did not know the outcome was. But the reality was they may find some discrepancies and will eventually may require some explanations.

That's just my opinion bro.. Hope it helps

06 Feb 2015 : Received email for RPRF payment notification.
07 Feb 2015 : Received MR email.

Received PER on 28.11.2014
awaiting for MR.
Generally MR takes 2 months from PER. Why it is taking more time in my case??

My second line was updated on 20th Jan but still no notification for MR. My NOC is 2171. Anybody aware what was the last date from this NOC who got the MR?

I dont think you should worry to much... My application was received on the 18 August 2014 and i am still unable to log onto ECAS. I have tried every possible way of putting in my name and I have tried with both App number and UCI number and nothing works

Below are my timelines

App Received: 18 August
PER Received: 8 December
AOR Received: 24 December
MR Request: 4 February 2015

Just a question. If you clear medicals and ECAS updates "Medical Received" are you 100% safe?
I mean why there is soo long waiting time from "Medicals Received" to "Decision Made". I mean almost 4-6 months. What to do they do all this period? NDVO..
