Hi

I want to check from the people who have applied in year 2014 lately that whether you have included the PCC with your application or not. Many places its written that the PCC is required at a later stage once the file reaches your local VO. However while going through the CIC website, it states that the application must contain PCC.

Any opinions?

Hi All,

I am preparing to file for FSW 2014 program. This is regarding the Employee Reference letter which is required as per CIC checklist.

Could you help and advise me what should I do, if my employer has refused to give me any reference letter stating my job responsibilities (as a DBA), salary and no. of hours worked ?

I can arrange a official mail from my superiors stating the above requirements and an affidavit from my side. Also I have all the documents such as offer letter, pay slips, increment letter (this shows position which my company has offered me - Systems Engineer, not DBA). Will all these documents be sufficient to pass the verification.

Lastly, the only way I can think of is to fake the letter head. I can get it signed by one of my senior colleague. But, I am bit concerned on how CIC verifies this kind of thing. If they contact the signing authority, I am fine with it. But if they go directly to company headquarters or someone else, it can be a problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have attached the PCC for india and UK with my application, did not wanted to take any chances.

Ok not a big deal if your company refused.

if your senior or collegue is ready to confirm about your roles and responsibilities then get a declaration affadavit done on his name ask him to provide you with his appointment letter with govt id (you get it noratized as well)

attach all these docs and attach it in your file with an explanation letter that you were not able to arrange the ref doc from your company and why they denied it (attach email proof if you have).

therefore in absence of company letter head you are attaching an affadavit duly signed by your collegue confirming your job duties ...

i hope it makes sense .....

Dear Friends,

I am working with my first company since the last 4 years. I will not be able to get my reference letter (job duties) from my present employer as I am carrying out this immigration process discreetly and I don’t want to put my job at stake. I have my offer letter, appointment letter, promotion letter, salary slips, IT returns, etc.

It will be really helpful if someone can suggest me a way out :'(

Will an affidavit help? Also, I joined this company as an trainee, then became Asst. Manager and now Deputy Manager in the same function. So do I need to have job description for all the three roles seperately or can I just mention the current role?

is WES the only option for education assessment?

How will I know where to get my Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)?

Three of the designated organizations can assess any foreign educational credential:
•Comparative Education Service: University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies,
•International Credential Assessment Service of Canada, and
•World Education Services.

Most people will be able to choose one of those three to do their ECA.

But, if the primary occupation you are listing on your FSWP application is
•specialist physician (2011 NOC code 3111), or
•general practitioner/family physician (2011 NOC code 3112),

you must get your credentials assessed by the Medical Council of Canada.

Brothers i have two questions plz ... i am looking for someone to clarify ...
Question No. (1) ; I had attested my marks sheets in B.COM and M.COM .. Is it necessary to attest the provisional certificate or not ??? Because in university here they are refusing to do that .... !!!!
Question No. (2) pertaining my ph.d ... I could get a certificate form the department where I completed my pd.d ... to confirm that I did my ph.d .... But as regards to my degree in ph.d ..... again they are refusing to get it attested ....

What I have to do with WES ????

You can calculate yourself.

But make sure you do this after getting education qualification assessed by the authorized authorities mentioned by CIC , so that you know where your education stands in comparison to Canada.

Hi,

I have applied for FSW 2014 and the application was recived by CIO on June 18 , Below are some of my quieries.

1.What are the Differnent stages in FSW process? and under which all stages money is required. Also what is the average time duration in each of this stages.
2.How will one know whether the DD is encashed , do we get a email from CIO about it?
3.Have anyone recevied any update from CIO who have recived the application on or around June 18th,
4.Also can you tell me under which NOC will the Software tester (QA - Manual/automation/Performance) fall , would NOC 2171 fit?
Also i Have 7+ experience in QA with Master's degree in Computer Science
