Alternatives to birth certificate are as follows in CIC's own words

We do accept Secondary school records that contain the following :

Applicant's Name
Date of Birth
Name of Parent/Parents

If you are not able to provide a Birth certificate with all 3 criteria, we require an affidavit stating all of this information or that a Birth certificate cannot be attained.

Affidavit done by notary public and keep in mind you have send the original
Yes you can do it with a local area notary public, do it in 50rs stamp paper

Hi Friends/Experts,

1) I am planning to apply for canada immigration for this 2014 cap.

2) I am taking my IELTS in SEP, Am I going to be late to apply for this year cap.

3)At present I am working in chemical engineering, In 50 occupation list this is not there but I read some where with NOC B of 2011 within sub quote they can take 200 application is true .Please clarify me and whether Am I eligible.

4) Mine is a peculiar case I did in chemical engineering and worked in Software for 3 year. Last 3 years I am working as a chemical engineer.So Am I eligible for applying as chemical engineer.

5) I read to take educational assessment for my studies ( i.e., Chemical Engineering) I did my schooling in English but outside of canada , i want to have my educational assessment and do I need to make my experience( chemical Engineering) also assessment please tell me for this assessment for chemical engineering where I have to do.

6) If I am eligible please provide the processing steps to carry for this year cap.

7) please if any one applied for this 2014 cap please provide how you processed.

I am looking forward for all of yours valuable information.

I m MKSHAH from gujarat, India.
I am planning to apply for FSW 2014 program under NOC 0121. I had previously applied in qsw, but it is almost 3 years now and still no update received on my file.... I am tired of waiting in qsw....
Now, this year, there is an NOC 0121 in FSW 2014, so I will apply for the same.

Hi friends, I am from New Delhi. Me & my wife (main applicant) are filing for FSW2174 hopefully by 5 Aug.

We both are giving IELTS on coming 19th. Do we need to instruct IDP at test centre to send result report directly to CIC as well? Or the result report we'll receive at our residential address, that itself we send along with our application and WES report ourselves.

Hi, your test results will be sent back to you then you include it in your application and send directly to CIC. All the best

Dear joe07,

Please be patient. I guess it will be too early to expect any feedback from CIC. Perhaps, they are dealing with early Dec. 13 applicants right now. My wild guess though.

You need to have your highest educational qualification accesed by any of the designated evaluation agencies

Requesting you to guide pl, if this would be too late for the cap limit.

What are the chances that if I start the process now, my file would be studied.

hi khajster...

I will advice you to be as fast as you can.....

because... you are having HOT NOC which is getting filled in faster than other NOCs in the list...

so, get ready all the documents well in advanced except IELTS & ECA and rush your application package as soon as you get these documents in your hand....

dont go by current application received stats of CIC.... usually these stats dont reflect the total number of applications received by CIC till date... it will only show the actual number of applications they have opened and accepted successfully...
