I found this forum has tremendous knowledge. By reading the pages itself few doubts were cleared such as "Not Found" for birth certificates works with Canada Visa etc etc.
But still I have few doubts. Sorry in advance for such a long email.
May be i woke up late on this FSW program. but no blame on destiny, because Destiny chooses the path for us. what to get, where to get and when to get.
Ok coming to the point:
We are following applicants:
My Wife, My kid1 (6 yrs), My kid2 (1yrs) and myself.
Currently i have regular 8+ yrs of work experience in software company.
1. Am I eligible under FSW program. (if Yes, how do i need to apply for family) - do we both need to apply separately or under one application form. – Please check your eligibility in CIC website, you generally apply for a family. If you and Your wife are eligible for separate applications, others can be dependants in that respective applications. Filing 2 applications increases the chances for PR. If both are successful, VO will ask you to withdraw one application at later stage

2. Me and my wife both are post-graduate (MCA and MBA respectively), Do we both need to clear IELTS before applying
IELTS mandatory for primary applicant
3. we are staying in Bangalore from past 5yrs. is PCC required for both of us? or my kids also needs PCC? PCC required for all above 22 years of age
4. My wife got "not Found" for birth certificate, any other affidavit required from her parents side besides notarized that "not found" certificate - if you don't have BC affidavit or SSLC certificate with father name & DOB will do
5. My case is different. My name is wrong on birth certificate when compared with 10th certificate (
my D.O.B is Aug, 1978 it is before year 1980). will an affidavit work that i had changed my name after naming ceremony?
re-registering the correct name is very long/time consuming and costly process. they are asking about 20k for re-registering.
6. Any affidavit required from my parents side. My 10th marks card contains only Father's name. But passport has mother's name
7. I have 3 homes (1st on my name, 2nd with my Wife's name, 3rd with my brother's name)
Can i show that as POF ? Apart from that there is no liquid amount in accounts (because bank takes everything as EMI
:'( )
So far Last but not least, Is it ok to go via any agency or good to apply directly at CIC website.
Please respond with your experience at your earliest convenience.
Regards,
Sandeep
