I'm a July '14 applicant. I got MR back in March 2015 but no PPR after that. My medicals have expired already and just yesterday they responded to one of my inquires and asked me to do the medicals again. Not ideal, but I'm just glad they didn't ask for police clearance again
Was ur file transferred from Amman to Bucharest?

Hi, I will reply to your question even though I'm not ZaidKa :)
I'm not a transferred applicant, but I know of several ex-Amman VO applicants .
The processing times for transferred applications from Amman and for original BVO applicants seem to be the same .
There is no trend that "original " BVO applicants are processed faster .
What about you, when did you apply and which category?

I applied to sponsor my husband in August 2015 and in Feb 2016 his file was transferred to Bucharest(from Amman). How much longer do you think it will take for him to get his visa?

elllham, yes. But I believe my application is taking longer than usual so I hope yours is processed faster.

Just received bio pages request yesterday. Finally! Though I just realized that my son's passport is about to expire so I need to renew it. They need the bio pages within 15 days but it may take a little longer to renew the passport. Is the 15 days a hard limit or can ask them for an extension?

You should write them and explain that you need an extension. They will agree.

Good luck to all guys who re still waiting..

Congratulations, ZaidKa! Hope your PPR will come very soon.

Thanks SS66, ssy81. I may not need to ask for an extension after all. Will hopefully receive the new passport tomorrow. Should get the PPR in 6 weeks :)

Alion4ik & Didiivanio - congratulations for your PPRs! Wow that was fast processing by Bucharest VO!
Pss2009 - Your medical request will come soon, just pray and hope dear :)
Stelimeli and SS66 - your PPRs are next.

We received a second email from Bucharest VO, asking for my reference letter from my husband and extending our submission deadline to April 4th. Hope we can make it and overcome the other obstacle in our application God willing.

Hey all,

I'm still waiting the PPR, medicals done in January, 18 2016. Since then no sign from VO.

I'm from Romania, application on Quebec-selected skilled workers with DCS from 2011 and CSQ from June 2015. Federal stage begun at 24.07.2015. I received GSMC notes (end of April) and the security, eligibiality and criminality assessments isn't started yet, only medical passed.

I finally received the passport request today. It's only been a few days since I submitted the bio pages of our passports. I read somewhere in this forum that it takes about 6 weeks between bio pages request and PPR so I was pleasantly surprised when I got the PPR that much sooner.

They mentioned in the email that passports must be signed by the passport holder, but I'm not sure what to do about my young children's passports. Should I sign their passports as their parent?

Congratulations for the PPRs, ZaidKa! I don't think minor's passports need to be signed by anyone (but I'm not an expert)
Mariani29 - We did our Medical tests on 18.03.2016 and 2 days ago we received interview invitation for 21.06.2016.
FSW applicants rarely get invited for interview, I think VO wants clarification regarding my job experience and the lack of my daughter's father's consent for her immigration to Canada. My GCMS notes dd 17.04.2016 seem to hint at these 2 issues.
I'm expecting the court decision regarding my daughter's immigration to be published on 16.06.2016. VO gave us only 2 working days to translate the court decision before the interview :o
VO asks we bring only 2 new police clearances for my husband, translation of the court decision & our original passports.
May God help us all!

ssy81, maybe after the interview everything will be clear for them and they will keep the passports and give you visas :) Good luck!
