rorita , isnt it possible to send passport to relatives and let them apply to visa without traveling then after completing the visa relatives could send it back via privat courier ?
Honestly i dont know, there is an authorization form that was in the email, but i didnt want to take the risk of sending passports via courrier.and all the applicants i know personally, they submitted their passports in person to vfs.
U can call vfs offices in ur country of residence and they can advise u as well or contact the embassy in ur country of residence to check if u can transfer the stamping to their location

Hope this helps :)

Good morning dears.
Another week of hopes has started. :P

You're right Jamal :)

I have a question for you - did you receive your Med. Req. before or after you saw 2nd line update?

I am asking you because I see you waited 4 months for Med. Req. after your PER.

Today its my 4th month .. 19th Jan - 19th May and I still have not received anything yet. So I was wondering should I wait for e-mail or check my status and wait for 2nd line update. Thanks!

Hi Doc,

Generally here in Bulgaria we are sending our passports via courrier to the VO (with an option for receiving back after visa stamped through the authorization form mentioned by Rorita), because it is cheaper than vfs. So it's safe but you should check and decide what to do.

2 weeks after second line I received MR.
You definitely should watch your status. With current delaying chance to receive MR before an update in status is impossible. That's my guess. ::)

PS: You can see my statistic in global SS, my nickname there is Tonny. ;)

Dear members
Do you know if there is a time frame between medical request and passport request? In my case it has been more than 2 months since medical request and still no passport request!

There is no specific time frame, every case is strong individual. I am in similar situation, almost 2 months since my MR and no news. We have nothing to do but wait.

My MR was on 10 march, I read somewhere on the spread sheet that passport request could take between 1 to 3 months so I want to make sure if this info is accurate?

Yeah, maybe in this range. We definitely will hear some news to end of June, I guess. :)
