Can anyone please help me understand what is the 2nd line status? ECAS = to CIC online application status? If yes I can only see status as: In Process, Withdrawn, Decision Made. For my case still in In Process and no further details except saying "we receive your application on..." Hence I received email for PER & AOR at the same time.

Can anyone respond to my query please?

3rd Line Updated now. Below are my timelines

App Sent: 9-Sep-14
App Received: 15-Sep-14
Cost Recovery: 30-Nov-14
PER: 14-Dec-14
2nd Line: 15-Feb-15 (We started processing your application on February 12, 2015)
MR, PCC, RPRF: 13-Mar-15
RPRF Paid: 13-Mar-15
Medicals Done: 17-Mar-15
Medicals Result Uploaded: 21-Mar-15
Medicals Received: 25-Mar-15 (Medical results have been received)

Applied for Singapore PCC and will receive on 6th April and will submit on same day. Now long wait for PPR begins.

"In process" is a hyperlink, you click this and this will lead you to the details i.e. We received your application on so and so date, etc....

Hi seniors

Plz help in resolving my doubt
My friend who is the PA ,his wife's passport is of Pakistan
It gets renewed every year from Indian embassy as she lives here Since 25 years
Now once they got their passport renewed this time
The pak embassy guy created a doubt that for Canadian visa you need a
Printed passport , whereas from India they issue only handwritten .

Is this the actual case ...?
He said if u want to get the printed passport you need to go to Pakistan
To get it issued .

Plz help as my friend is quite worried

Hi

Your friend has submitted docx along wtih copies of spouse passport. During the course of processing, VO will tell you if manual passport is acceptale or not.

However its better to visit Pak and obtain a machine readable passport ASAP. Now they are issuing it for 10 years before it was for 5 years.

IME results are uploaded by the doctor. Then they are asseessed at the RMO and linked to GCMS file. If something was wrong with your exam, your doctor would have asked you to give the tests again. If they are submitted, they will be approved. Easy as that. If they miss something they email the applicant (procedural fairness).

Dear the second line update is when u are about to get ur MR which says We started Processing ur Aapplication on ...........????

& within a week of it u get the MR request ... So this is what ECAS second line update says .....

they will only send the pr card to that landing location written in copr.

The pr card will be sent to address given by applicant at time of landing. The address can be of your friend/known person in Canada. The immigration officer knows that you will have a permanent address after landing and finding accomodation. Under FSW program you can work, land and stay anywhere in Canada except Quebec

So meaning the In Process Status: We received your application for permanent residence on November 13, 2014.
Will eventually change to "We started processing your Application on..." Afterwards I'll get my MR? I have received the PER & AOR at the same time from CIO CIC email last 4th Feb. Is there anything I need to worry about?

am from NDVO and my 2nd line updated on 21 jan,,, till now no medicals..

i have rised GCMS notes on 24th feb but still no reply and even rised CSE on 28 feb..

when will i can expect GCMS notes? what could be the reason for issuing medicals? ??? ??? ???
