MR, PCC, RPRF: 13-Mar-15
RPRF Paid: 13-Mar-15
Medicals Done: 17-Mar-15
Medicals Result Uploaded: 21-Mar-15
Medicals Received: 25-Mar-15 (Medical results have been received)

Applied for Singapore PCC and will receive on 6th April and will submit on same day. Now long wait for PPR begins.

250,000 of "investment" abroad is allowed by resident Indians. Check finance ministry website to confirm. Till you've spent 183 days you will not be NRI. Again check on Income Tax and Finance Ministry websites.

Today I received PPR from KVO, it was by phone, lady called and instructed me to send passport along with
self addressed prepaid courier receipt so they can return passport using that. Time line below, will update SS later...

Recieved COPR & Immigrant Stamps in PP: Once i land:

1. The EXPIRATIOn DATE on PR Cards will be 5 years from DATE OF my LANDING in Canada?

2. IS there an affidavit or some legal document required (Giving Authority or consent) if I plan to have the PR cards MAILED out to my friends address in Alberta,Canada?

3.Or is there no such requirement & i simply put my friends address in there.

1. Recd PER on 17th Nov. 2nd line on 25th Nov. Last update is on 7th December where location is REGISTRY. What does that mean?
2. What is ECU - EDO?
3. My due date is 25.02.2015. Still haven't recd even MR?

Do you think I'll get MR anytime soon? Am I going to face verification or interview?

"Q. 10. How much foreign exchange is available to a person going abroad on emigration?

Ans. A person going abroad on emigration can draw foreign exchange from AD Category I bank and AD Category II up to the amount prescribed by the country of emigration or USD 100,000. He can draw foreign exchange up to USD 100,000 on self- declaration basis from an Authorised Dealer in India This amount is only to meet the incidental expenses in the country of emigration. No amount of foreign exchange can be remitted outside India to become eligible or for earning points or credits for immigration. All such remittances require prior permission of the Reserve Bank. If requirement exceeds USD 100,000, the person requires to obtain the prior approval from the Reserve Bank."

1 - Yes 5 years from the date of landing.
2 - No need.
3- Just provide your friends address if you going to reside in Alberta Canada.

there are 5 proven annoying things one can see in their life:
1- sticking to a leather couch when you lie on it naked in a summer afternoon
2- a small stone stuck in your boot sole and the disgusting noise it makes
3- an itchy nose when you are wearing gloves and washing the dishes
4- the feeling when you want to wear your socks with freshly clipped finger nails
5- waiting for PPR after the third line update
I guess I hate the last one most!!!!! cmmmmmmon vo!!!!

it is very clear that the rate of sending MR became less from all VOs this week.

I think it's because of many EE invitations sent out and I guess it's student's visa time and student's visas always have the priority as their time frame is more limited than immigration classes
