following are my details
Application Sent -25-Jun
Application Received 3-Jul
PER received - 29-Oct
2nd Line Update - 20-Jan
Interview (horrible experience but thank God that I clear it) -16-Feb
MR Request -14-Mar
Medical Done - 17-Mar

However, My wife is pregnant and we did not get her x-ray. Her X ray will be submitted after delivery i.e in September. Just curious to know approx how long now it can take from here. Seniors.. can anyone please predict...

Also if someone can help me and elaborate on the process that needs to be followed after the baby is born and the tentative timelines... Thank you all for sharing your experiences here.....

I have received Medical and RPRF request on 18th March but still not received medical forms and instruction that are emailed separately.

Kindly suggestion without medical forms medical can be done or not?

What should I do in this case? Waiting for your valuable suggestion.

i know i m repeating but still just to clarify and make sure ..

as ur aware of I have the fourth line update as DM , till now havnt got PPR mail , pls ans these things .. refreshing my inbox like every now nd then

1. if there was any rejection (i know its zero chances still ) how will the visa office inform me .. bcos i read fariness letter is given before DM status .. or shld we wait for that mail too like ppr

2. in DM status (fourth line) its mentioned the visa office will contact u regarding this decision , so does the mail trigger for everyone automatically or is it individually sent .. or auto triggered ... ndvo works from 9 to 5 so shld we expect mail only during this time ..

3. i have double checked from bank , my dd is encashed for rprf which i sent along with pcc and medical receipts .. i know its good news but is it some sort of confirmations ...

pls take some time and ans .. appreciate ur ans and help till date .. thank you

don't worry. There won't be rejection unless you are involved in criminal or terrorist activities

Finally, we got the 2nd line update!
They started processing our application in March 16.
No wonder no MR coming. They haven't started ours yet. Whew!
Even so long overdue, we're still very happy it's moving already!!!

If I may ask... You have mentioned of plans to fly to Canada by next Feb ? Why soo much of delay ?

Delay is to allow me possibility of obtaining UK PR before flying to Canada so that I can have a back-up should I need to come back to the UK!

To get UK PR I have to live in the UK for another 3 years and I'll get PR card valid for 5 years from the date I'll land in Canada so I can technically live outside Canada for almost 4 years from now still meet PR obligations.

Surely it is a good news in your case. You will get the email shortly just wait and chill. Because once you will get the good news you will forget the waiting period

I have one question. Once myself, my wife and my new born son are landed to Canada, do they check minimum funds (I believe 10k CAD per person) we are carrying or not? Someone told me they don't check but we shud carry at least 2 months expenses.

Would appreciate your response.

No you can carry as many as you want, only thing is you have to declare if you are carrying more than 10K.

Ideal situation is, take 3 months expense with you , go there open account and remit money

I just got my passport back with COPR (confirmation of permanent residence) and IM-1 Visa. Very excited..Bliss...

PP dispatched from VFS office (Ktm ,Nepal) on 9th March ,2015.
Planning to land on July,2015.

Guys,

I just noted that my previous mobile no. is getting dispalyed in all the documents forwarded by NDVO(Like medical forms etc.) but the email address is correct. Should I update the mobile number ? Whats the procedure for doing the same?
