Hi Seniors,

My timelines are as follows:

NOC - 2281
Visa Office- New Delhi
Application Received - 13th November 2014
Credit Card Charged - 14th January 2015
PER E-mail Received - 3rd February 2015
Acknowledgment Mail - 19th March 2015.

I am a New Delhi resident and applied for New Delhi Visa Office but I received an AOR e-mail from Colombo-Sri Lanka Visa Office.

I have some questions.

1. Is it normal? whereas I correctly wrote my Visa Office as New Delhi in All Forms at the time of application.
2. Will it delay processing of my Visa?
3. How will they do employment verification, Visiting or Telephonic? and in how much time?
4. If Interview happens in future, where would I go for an interview - NDVO or CVO?

Seniors inputs will help in my worries.
Due to lots application burden. Your file is transferred to Colombo office. All the PER received in 2015 will have VO CVO or warsaw. Its normal. Now you have got the AOR mail means they will start processing you application. This will not be much of delay. Put your fingers crossed for interview. 1% of candidates are called for interview. I don't think interview will be scheduled in CVO. Let seniors put more light on Interview location if VO changed from home country to another country.

Hi vikas,

Even i applied for 2281 before u in sept.. Same is the case wid me.

I think i know u. In which cmpny u work ?? Emc ??

Dear Seniors,

URGENT HELP REQUIRED!

I'm not sure if this have been posted earlier..request you to please guide me with the below queries..as I need to post the documents on Monday, by all means.

1. MR related query - I have got my medical examination done from a e-medical center, and have obtained payment invoice and color print of the E-MEDICAL INFORMATION SHEET from the center which has my photograph printed on it. Is that the necessary document that I am supposed to send to NDVO? I don't have the IMM1017 document completed and signed by the doctor ???

2. RPRF related query - I have gone through the email from NDVO and it is thoroughly confusing.. the mail reads

- Kindly follow the links below for information on payment of fees:

FEE SCHEDULE:

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/fees-frais.aspx?lang=eng

HOW TO PAY:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?lob=proc&cat=perm

One of the links above mention that the acceptable mode of payment to NDVO is DD and the other link allows me to make an online payment..Grossly confusing...However, I have settled with the idea to go ahead with a DD in INR, but I still don't know the below details
DD amount in INR - INR Amount in website does not match with the CAD-INR converted amount
DD should be in favour of "?"
DD should be payable at "?"

And finally the Address of our NDVO which is :
Canada High Commission,
Immigration Section
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri, PO Box 5209
New Delhi- 110021
India

Will the courier accept a consignment with a PO Box number, I don't know. If yes, then which courier. I am sending the documents from Mumbai.

Thanks a lot!

Nope, registered post is different than speed post (although both are handled by India post). Registered post is just regular post (although with proof of delivery & tracking), while speed post is bit faster than registered/regular.

Couldn't really comment on submitting it directly. Hopefully someone else would chime in on that. But when I was at the high commission waiting for my interview, I saw couple of people collecting passports directly from there. So it might be possible I guess? Better to contact the high commission directly & see what they advice.
