Dear Seniors,

URGENT HELP REQUIRED!

I'm not sure if this have been posted earlier..request you to please guide me with the below queries..as I need to post the documents on Monday, by all means.

1. MR related query - I have got my medical examination done from a e-medical center, and have obtained payment invoice and color print of the E-MEDICAL INFORMATION SHEET from the center which has my photograph printed on it. Is that the necessary document that I am supposed to send to NDVO? I don't have the IMM1017 document completed and signed by the doctor ???
{Avinir}: IMM1017 is kept by hospital only e-medical information sheet is given. So dont worry.

2. RPRF related query - I have gone through the email from NDVO and it is thoroughly confusing.. the mail reads

- Kindly follow the links below for information on payment of fees:

FEE SCHEDULE:

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/fees-frais.aspx?lang=eng

HOW TO PAY:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?lob=proc&cat=perm

One of the links above mention that the acceptable mode of payment to NDVO is DD and the other link allows me to make an online payment..Grossly confusing...However, I have settled with the idea to go ahead with a DD in INR, but I still don't know the below details
DD amount in INR - INR Amount in website does not match with the CAD-INR converted amount
DD should be in favour of "?"
DD should be payable at "?"

{Avinir}: As there is no time. Pay the amount by Credit Card - Fees is to be paid for adults. 490x2. You will get the receipt on your email which you need to print and fill the details like UCI, DOB, Address, PIN COde, phone number by pen. you can pay the fees by your friends credit card too.

And finally the Address of our NDVO which is :
Canada High Commission,
Immigration Section
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri, PO Box 5209
New Delhi- 110021
India

Will the courier accept a consignment with a PO Box number, I don't know. If yes, then which courier. I am sending the documents from Mumbai.

Send the courier on below address. Don't mention PO box number, i ) i) Request letter - its 4th attachment of email in which you got RPRF link, ii) Passport Copier of each applicant (First and last page), iii) RPRF online payment Receipt (Need to fill the UCI, DOB, (main applicant, Address, Postal code, phone no.) iv) e-Medical Informatin Sheet orginal

Use Blue dart urgent service to send the all these documents to NDVO they deliver the document before 11 AM next day. They are really quick. I submitted to courier on blue dart outlet around 8:30 PM and they delivered it to NDVO at 9:30 AM morning Address of NDVO (WIthout PO box no.)
Canada High Commission,
Immigration Section
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri,
New Delhi- 110021
India

PM if you still have query. i will share my number. Avinir

Thanks a lot!

Please find below details for the same (original post by - Palakpatel911)

Please do verify the POF (proof of funds) before you plan to land -
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

Refer/bookmark this as well = http://travel.gc.ca/returning/customs/what-you-can-bring-home-to-canada
Arriving with $10,000 or more - para on the above link

If you are carrying more than C$10,000, tell a Canadian official when you arrive in Canada. If you do not tell an official, you may be fined or put in prison. These funds could be in the form of:

•cash
•securities in bearer form (for example, stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills) or
•negotiable instruments in bearer form (for example, bankers' drafts, cheques, travellers' cheques or money orders).

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

And at the Declaration Card you are asked to declare all ...you also have to declare currency ... totaling CAN$10,000.00 or more. Failure to do so could result in penalties, seizure and/or prosecution.

CBSA = Canada Border Services Agency

If you fail to declare currency or monetary instruments (signed travellers cheques, bonds, etc) EQUAL TO OR MORE THAN $10000 CAD, then it will be seized under the "proceeds of crime (money laundering) and terrorist financing act".

If you have LESS than that, you have no requirement to declare it. You may be asked to show it as part of the Immigration interview

Hope this helps !

Dear Members,

Its been more than 6 working days (total of 8 days) since my PP status changed to "is being processed" . In an average i have noticed through this forum, it takes 4 working days to get status changed to "dispatched" . Any other members whose status changed to "is being processed" on 13th of march and still the status is same? what could be the reason for this delay?

I understand that 4th line update is "Decision Made" and we receive PPR during the same time.

Couple of questions, sorry silly once :-X ;)

- How long it takes from 3rd line to 4th line? This actually varies from file to file. Recent times, if i have to take a guess at the trend. I will say 30 to 45 days.
- Do we receive PPR the same day when DM is update in ECAS? Again, Few have received on the same day or next day but others had to wait for a week
- What are the documents to be sent for PPR? Passports for each applicant along with 2 photos for each applicant

Hi Seniors,

My timelines are as follows:

NOC - 2281
Visa Office- New Delhi
Application Received - 13th November 2014
Credit Card Charged - 14th January 2015
PER E-mail Received - 3rd February 2015
Acknowledgment Mail - 19th March 2015.

I am a New Delhi resident and applied for New Delhi Visa Office but I received an AOR e-mail from Colombo-Sri Lanka Visa Office.

I have some questions.

1. Is it normal? whereas I correctly wrote my Visa Office as New Delhi in All Forms at the time of application.
2. Will it delay processing of my Visa?
3. How will they do employment verification, Visiting or Telephonic? and in how much time?
4. If Interview happens in future, where would I go for an interview - NDVO or CVO?

Seniors inputs will help in my worries.

- How long it takes from 3rd line to 4th line?
you will get it within 1-2 months from 3rd line update. NDVO is very fast these days
- Do we receive PPR the same day when DM is update in ECAS?
may or may not
- What are the documents to be sent for PPR?
1) Original Passports (All family)
2) 2 passport size photographs (date written on back sides of both the photos and studio details on back side of one photograph)
3) Print out of the table (hand written)
4) printout of the Passport request letter

Hope this helps !
