i am 5th Aug Applicant
NOC 4011
PER mail received on 27th of Jan 14
2nd line update on 24th Of Jan 15

Still waiting for MR.

Hi All,

My current vo- NDVO

CURRENT STATUS- Waiting for 3rd line update

Application date-Aug-25-2014

PER-12-dec-2014

secondline-12-feb-2015

MR Request-14-Mar-2015

I hadnt submitted the PCC intially with the application back in August as my consultant told its not necessary.
.
However I had a PCC which I took after getting PER in December 2014 and sent it to NDVO with a cover letter.

Recently NDVO in MR request asked me to submit PCC again Medicals,RPRF .

My consultant informed me not to get PCC again but submit a cover letter telling NDVO that I had submitted PCC in December with exact date of PCC delivery to NDVO.

I have already sent the RPRF ,MEDICALS and cover letter to NDVO but with no PCC as informed by my consultant.

I wanted your expert advice here

My questions are

1. How does NDVO track pcc documents sent by applicants to thier office and why they didnt check the PCC which i had sent them in December ?I know that if any applicant had sent pcc with application they wont ask them but in my case even after i had sent after per they asked (sounds like the mr email issues based on flags set in the computer system)

2.My consultant says this is a common scenario and they do this for all thier clients which is sending cover letter telling NDVO they had sent it at this date.Do you think this is a common scenario and have you faced it?

I though have applied for PCC again even if my consultant says not required please advice .

I also read somewhere in the forum that NDVO lost someones PCC and asked the applicant to send scanned copy of PCC via email or case specific enquiry.I also therefore raised a CSE and sent all the details such as scanned copy of pcc, proof of delivery of the courier but have not recived any response . :(

Congrats Buddy !

Here's +1 to u for good news !

Hello,
I share exactly same timilenes as yours. I hope we both get our mr very soon. All the best.

Hi Guys,

Need some advice. I am a CVO applicant and have received interview email yesterday. They have asked me to bring the following.

Please bring your passport(s) and the following documents:
- Recent employment reference letter
- Recent Proof of funds
- Your Personal History (Schedule A form, Question Cool details from 18th birthday without gaps.)

I have submitted employment reference letters from two of my past employees who's duties matched my NOC (I had worked for other companies but didn't mention them as their NOC's were not relevant). Company 1 had closed down their operations in my country (back in 2007) and only head office in US is contactable. I had obtained the reference letter from the director who was managing the local operations at that time by contacting him in the US and submitted a copy of the letter with my application.

I had resigned from company 2 just before I submitted my application to CIO (company was likely to close down as it had financial trouble). I had submitted a copy of my resignation acceptance letter along with the reference letter in the application. I am still unemployed. Company 2 had closed down after a few months of my resignation. However mobile number of the HR manager who had signed the letter was included in the letter and is active. (I also have a current visiting card of that HR manager)

My question now is, what are they meaning by Recent employment reference letter ?. Is it a letter from my current employer? (I don't have one, as i am unemployed and freelancing at the moment).

Do you think it's game over for me if VO is unable to verify my letters with the employer? and the fact that I am unemployed currently?. What can I do if the company closed down :(. Quite worried.

Hope so and we will get soon. I am expecting today as by last Saturday afternoon we have seen many updating the same.
If we get MR we will know that we are almost through and can prepare ourselves to move to Canada.
Now it is like we are on the borderline not able to concentrate here or concentrate/plan about moving to Canada.

All the best everyone waiting at this stage....

Hello Sandy,
You are absolutely right. Once we get mr we are very sure that we are almost through. But before mr it is very risky, so lots of anxiety before getting mr. If we get mr we can plan accordingly.
Thanks and Regards,
Jigyasu
