Hello Guys,

I got a mail from Warsaw office and it just says the same thing that --- application was received on ___ ----

Is that an AOR, I am confused as it says nothing else and no documents or anything ?

i got my PER on 20th feb
still waiting for second line...
so my q is that as i have not recieved any AOR that means my file is being processed at NDVO ..or not ?
Because warsaw and colombo vo sents mail (AOR) by this time and for NDVO thr is no AOR as in spreadsheet..
so any idea guyzzz?

Have some patience, You will hear soon.
If you are in hurry to know, then Raise CSE to New Delhi.
They will let you know about where your file will be processed.
One of my friends, did and he got reply that his file will be processed at WVO.
Keep in mind that he got his reply after 17days.

Hi All,

Passport submitted: - NDVO @yesterday

Thought of sharing my experience to help others

Documents Required to be submitted:-
1.Email printout of PPR request from NDVO
2.Photo copy of front page of passport(They would return You this)
3.2- Photographs each, with photographers details written on the back of one
4. Filled family form
5. Offcourse fee of 577 per passport, I also took SMS service for 49 rs ( Haven’t taken the courier facility would prefer collected by hand, I felt it is bit costlier ;D)

Time taken :- we went around 9 am in the morning but unfortunately it took 2 hours to submit the docs, as VFS billing server was down , but overall it takes around 20 -30 minutes for the whole process.
Avoid carrying any pen drive stuff as security guard won't allow that inside the VFS premises. Moreover there is no luggage storage facility so better carry only the required stuff to VFS.
Parking cost is 6 hours = 30 rs, it is just next to the International trade tower(VFS office)

Documents for collection of Passport:-
1. Fee payment receipt
2.Authorization letter incase person is collectimg on someone's behalf(simple application that so and so person would be collecting my passport and I am giving authorization for the same) + Original ID proof and photocopy of the same for the person whose passport need to be collected.

Note:-If all the members are present while collection of passport only the payment receipt is required.

As the primary applicant I know that I can land by myself and go back for my family and have them land later but what would I show as proof of income if I land first? proof of income for just myself or for the entire family?

For your entire family. And if you land in more than 1 group, you must show the required documents for each group when they land.

BTW it's not proof of income it's proof of funds.

Also, since I have a visitors visa, can I travel on that to do interviews and then return for my family when settled and do landing together with them??

No. If you are issued a PR visa you can no longer be considered a visitor. You must land the next time you enter Canada.

After all the efforts for last 2 years, I have now managed to get the PR visa and planing to leave in July this year.

Uncertainty.....daunts.....all the time.

What am I doing?

One big question is that of schools and kids education.

Not many of the children in Canada like to study beyond class 12. Somewhere I read that one in seven students in Canada study beyond the grade 12.

One of the key reasons for moving to Canada is that I want a better future for kids. I want kids to study and have better opportunities when they grow up. Worried, if they are not interested in studies when they grow....then why are we making such a big move?

Please help, especially those who may have some personal experience.
