Is it possible that they reached 25K? Maybe 2172 filled up?

Hi guys

I applied in the second week of December and received email from CIC on 3rd March that my application is eligible to be processed.

I got married on 2nd March. My husband works in Delhi and I work in Mumbai, so living separately for the time until one of us does not find job in the other city. I have few concerns.

it would be really appreciated if someone could help me out.

-What would be the next step from CIC now?
*File will be transferred to your local Visa Office usually New Dehli( but due to Hig volumes at New Delhi it may be transferred to Colombo/Warsaw,
* second line will be updated in your ECAS when the VO starts processing your file
*After completion of background checks etc you will be asked for PCC, Medicals and RPRF payment
-at what stage I need to get PCC ready?
You should start ASAP ,If you or your spouse are currently residing at a different Address (other then the one mentioned on your passports), else you can wait for 15-20 days
-when should I let CIC know about my marital status?
After you receive a communication from VO, MR/PCC/RPRF
-would they object if we have to live in different cities for some more time?
i'm not sure but if they raise a concern , then provide a detailed explanation , they would surely understand
-how can i check my application status using my UCI number?

My request to all the people out there waiting for PPR... Let me tell you one thing..PPR will come in sometime now. Till the time please start preparing for coming here to Canada..

Look out
1) Where u will Stay (Close to downtown or little further from downtown, etc)

2) Job openings research (like IT jobs are more in Toronto and Animation jobs more in Vancouver etc)

3) Resume update. Please update your resume as per Canadian standards.

4) Get a letter from Road Transport office(or similar govt. body) in order to get waived off for 1 off 3 road license exam[Written test+road test 1+Road Test 2]..Road test 1 gets waived off if u have letter from RTO back home..

5) Back up plans. As you all know it takes time to get a good job here so what will u do to survive. Like I worked in a restaurant for 3 months initially etc..

And i think people will add up more things which needs to be taken care...

Getting PR is step 1....so start thinking about these stuff before u arrive here...

AOR Mail Content ??

Hello Guys,

I got a mail from Warsaw office and it just says the same thing that --- application was received on ___ ----

Is that an AOR, I am confused as it says nothing else and no documents or anything ?
