Guys 3rd line just got update. It says "Medical results have been received."

my timelines on the left !!!

Medicals went smooth though BP was recorded as 140/90.
Send my PCC along hence feel that Meds received on time.

For meds what i did:

Nothing specific, just drink atleast 2-3 liters of water every day specially 1 liter of water in the morning.
Was in a habit of eating a clove of garlic in the morning ever since the winters began.
Stay positive, calm and stress free when you are at the hospital.
Tell only what is asked by the physician, don't try to be a physician yourself.

Many people seem to be getting RFRF request and PPR together. Is that how it works? In our case, we got RPRF request same day as MR.

Those people who didn't receive RPRF with MR they will receive RPRF with PPR. Nothing to worry about.

Hi guys, this is my first post on this forum. I sent my application thru today. It should reach CIO in Sydney by Monday 23rd June latest. I have 2 year's work ex in NOC 2171, IELTS Scores at CLB Level 9 in all sections, I would get 12 points for age and I supplied an ECA which certifies equivalency to Canadian master's degree. So my score is 69, hopefully NOC 2171 isn't full yet.

I wasn't able to get my bachelor's degree evaluated because it was taking too long for university to respond to request for official transcripts. So my ECA includes only my master's degree and it says it's equivalent to Canadian master's degree. Would this negatively affect my eligibility?

And I don't know what happens next. Can someone shed some light on what are next steps and how long it takes before I get my PR Visa from this point?

I think this can happen. It seems sometimes they update ECAS few days after committing actual action. Like I got PPR on 10th March but DM came on 13th March.

Yes, I agree with Goku! As per CIC guidelines, RPRF can be paid at ANY stage during the application process. PR Visa cannot be issued before RPRF is paid, however.

So one can technically pay RPRF even before posting their applications to CIO, Sydeny, and that's the reason why payment process doesn't required any info related to application or applicants themselves. If app is refused / returned then one can always request a refund!

Hi friends,

How are you all doing? Just to update you all that I have got my medicals done and my third line is also updated.

However, I have got married on 15th February and have added my spouse in my application. I have sent my documents on 18th February for addition of my wife and have also raised a CSE in this regard on the same day to which I recd a response on 05 March stating the exact set of documents required for addition of spouse.

I had already sent 95% of my documents as per this email on 18th February itself however the rest 5% of documents have been sent on March 12th which consisted of some photos of the wedding ceremony and spouses job reference letter.

My question to the fellow members here is that how much time normally does it take to add spouse to the application and also if I can connect to any other members who have added spouse in the application to understand the exact modalities of how to take it ahead.

I think NDVO is taking on an average about 6 to 8 weeks to issue PPR after submission of MR. You should get it very soon!

After that no update till now. No second line update also. In between i have changed my job. I sent my job change documents to NDVO on 6.2.2015.
Can you please clarify whether job change is reason for delay. thanks

I had submitted my passport to VFS Chandigarh on March 10th, but my status is still showing in process. Is it normal? It has been 10 days now.

[size=12pt]I had to send police done fingerprint two times to the FBI. First time they said the prints weren't clear. I would recommend get 3 sets done when you go to the local police, and then send at least 2 separate requests spaced apart by 2-3 weeks. This is the smallest of all expenses, and worth duplicating.[/size]

well my wife took mine. we sent 3 sets and were accepted in first go. thanks to her. (may be she can open an agency)

Change of job would probably add a week or so of extra processing time but not more than that!

Now a days VOs are doing thorough checks on employment documents on many candidates which takes extra time so you wouldn't need to worry just because of bit of delay!
