dear members, the Ottawa visa office emailed me 9 days ago with this email :This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:
• Medical examination for you, and ***************• New original police certificate for yourself and your spouse from the country of residence• Payment of Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) for yourself and your spouse. You must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa. Please follow these steps:
• Go to the website:**********************************
• Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed
• Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”
• You must pay this fee once for yourself as principal applicant and your spouse
• Enter the number of fee payments (2) in the box beside the fee of $490
• Click “Submit”
• Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with a credit card
• Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format. You must send the receipt to CPC-O.

Please submit the requested documents/fees to the following address:

The above information/documents must be received in our office within 60 days from the date of this e-mail. Please quote your complete application number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the address indicated above.

and the question is do I have to send the payment receipt only by Email together with my police certificate or also by Email because as you can see no specific email has been mentioned in this Email and no steps has been mentioned to put the receipt as an attachment .some of my friends suggest that I copy the Email specific for receiving the receipts from the correspondence of Ottawa visa office to them not to me .is this true or it is enough to send it by courier.is it possible that the officer forgot to write this email because it is differ completely from the above emails.

I haven't got the PPR till now !! I am getting very worried now since people who got their Meds in Feb have already got it !!!!

ssindia....every case is different and so the timelines are also different. My meds were done in Dec and I am still waiting for my PPR. I am guessing my case is because I have a lot of travel and hence few PCC's. So the checks might be taking time.
Patience is what is needed and don't get worried. Hang in tight bro...it will come soon for all of us

Hello Jack,

Congrats on your PER. Now your file will be moved to your visa office. Your next step is MR 2-4 months from PER. With the MR you are asked to submit additional docs(PCC+other is required) and RPRF fee. Once you clear your medicals you will get PPR which is again long wait.. 1-5 months from MR. The processing times vary from person to person.

Please update your timelines in your forum profile. You can only do that after your 10 posts on this forum.

Re: Medical Received !!!

Guys 3rd line just got update. It says "Medical results have been received."

my timelines on the left !!!

Medicals went smooth though BP was recorded as 140/90.
Send my PCC along hence feel that Meds received on time.

For meds what i did:

Nothing specific, just drink atleast 2-3 liters of water every day specially 1 liter of water in the morning.
Was in a habit of eating a clove of garlic in the morning ever since the winters began.
Stay positive, calm and stress free when you are at the hospital.
Tell only what is asked by the physician, don't try to be a physician yourself.

Good luck to all !!! God bless !!!
