For me, the status sms alert did not work for the "Ready to collect" status. When i called the CC, they said its ready to collect from last 2 days!

Happy to announce that I collected the stamped passports from VFS today Afternoon

The date of Visa Issue is 03/03/2015


Thank you all for the help and support all through all. I wish you all get the Medicals/PPR at the earliest.

App received: 12-06-2014
PER; 05-11-2014
Process Start: 02-01-2015
Medical: 27-01-2015
Medical Done: 04-02-2015
RPRf and PCC Send: 05-02-2015
Third Line Update: 15-02-2015
PPR: 04-03-2015
PPR Sent: 09-03-2015
PPR Received: 19-03-2015

My application reached CIO on 26 NOV 2014 but still I am not been charged. I have applied under NOC-2281. Its more than 14 weeks now and I haven't got any response so far. Still awaiting CC to be charged.

Is there anyone else is in the same situation. Application reached CIO on 26 Nov 2014

Congratulations !!!!!!!!!!! why you have submitted original FD's . is it necassary step?

No, it was not a necessary step. But the FD's I had were not on auto-renewal, that means they would en-cash automatically on the date of maturity.
Hence I actually never needed the original FD's for a purpose. So had planned to send originals only, as I could. But again, it's not mandatory and attested photocopies of FD's would server the same purpose.

3 months since PER and not even 2nd line update

I know a lot of people with much earlier PERs are also waiting but really can't help feeling sad.

Hope NDVO gets a bit more streamlined and start working on applications awaiting 2nd line updates & MRs as well along with issuing PPR requests.
