It official...I got my PPR today....very happy today...

My timeline is as:
App date : 04/07/14
PER : 30/10/14
Second Line : 24/01/15
Medical : 12/02/15
Medical done : 17/02/15
PPR : 18/03/15
My status in the CIC status is still in PROCESS, it may change in a day or two..

We received your application for permanent residence on August 29, 2014.

We started processing your application on March 11, 2015.


Now waiting for MR. Can anyone please tell me the average time they take between 2nd line update and MR mail?

Submitted passports on 2nd March in person with VFS, New Delhi. Were Dispatched to NDVO on 3rd March as per the Email. The current status says, "..in process..". Still waiting for my passports back. Extremely worried now :

Try contacting VAC from where you have couriered your passport..

I ordered GCMS earlier and observed that after the physical file moves to a certain department, it takes almost a month for it to get picked and a few days for them to close and forward further.
I would be hopeful that you should have DM/PPR by next 30 days.

You could also raise GCMS to know file status.

Hi All,

My third line was updated on 30 Jan but after that I have not yet received PPR after 45 days. Should I wait for more time to raise CSE.

I have sent my PCC with application and have no travel history too. I am not clear where my application stuck.

I had faced the same issue of getting important mails received with delay from my lawyer in Canada.
Hence, after I paid them in full post medical request, I enclosed a signed letter while sending MR, RPRF, PCC to NDVO to change my email address from lawyers to one of my own.
So this time PPR mail came directly to me.
Iam happy I did it.
