Hi,

I am still waiting for my passports. Actually I have to travel to US in end of this month - is there any way I can request NDVO to send my passport bit early?

Appreciate your all help!
-MS
Hello Msinghdba,
I think it takes 3 weeks for the VO to process the passports and back to you. You can count the time and if it will take nearing your travel date, you can inform them that you are travelling. You can probably send a copy of your travel documents, i.e., tickets, show itinerary of travel, if a business travel, etc...
But maybe not pressuring them to make a hurry. Ask for their help and suggestions...
Try inquiring CIC outside canada how you can request this and send in proof of travel.
I hope this helps...

Thanks for the share. Quite helpful. +1.
Question - So once photo is taken for jewellery what size prints are needed.
Each photo separately to be clicked and printed too.
Or clicked seprately then embed in the excel maybe in a 1.5x2 inch size in the excel and then the excel is printed.

I am not sure about that but it's advisable to print photo separately rather than embed in the excel.

Guys,

Its been almost 5.5 months since PER and no sign of MR. 2nd line was updated on 24th Nov. My consultant says it could take upto 6 mths to receive MR from the PER date and the processing time that is passing by in no manner mean that there is any concern on my application, if there is then the VO will inform accordingly.
Can some share thoughts. I am really nervous and anxiously waiting for MR. Also when the MR mail comes would be sent to the consultant like the PER mail. ?
Hello Amit28,
We are in the same boat. Actually we're May/June applicant waiting for the MR. Consultant says it's still within the window of processing times . But if it goes beyond, they'll do something in our behalf to reach the VO or CIC. It's just that same and other later applicants are getting theirs ahead of us that makes us impatient and eager for our updates...
What I did was sent GMCS notes for the detailed status but it takes a month to come.

I could see decision made for my application but PPR request did not come. Do you know how long it takes to get PPR request after Decision Made.

Congrats plikhi on DM. When did you see the status get updated?
PPR can come anytime now.

It was updated yesterday but my friends told it should have come by now.

Usually yes. But it can also take 2-3 days.
I think it's more to do with the system triggering it out.
I also got DM yesterday and still waiting PPR.

Yes. You need to translate into English.

He was asking about attestation of English Translation.. which is not necessary

NOC 1111 is slow in movement as observed..

When can I expect
Hello Krusnet,

What I did was sent GCMS notes for the detailed status but it takes a month to come.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

You can also send a case-specific enquiry to the embassy.

https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=manila

You can try to check your status online using your personal information and your uci here once in awhile:

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas

Another thing, you can call CIC from outside Canada 1-613-944-4000.

I hope this helps.

One last thing, "Patience is a virtue". Pray hard we'll come to that in no time.

Guys, I have a question. If I land alone without my wife first and then my wife comes on her own then do I need to carry any of her documents? Also, I will be carrying 2 sets of B4 forms for goods accompanying and goods to follow. Now, if this is signed/stamped at port of entry then does my wife need to carry the signed/stamped goods to follow form with her when she lands later? If yes, then I would need to courier the stamped B4 goods to follow to her, right?

I am very busy with all the arrangements and planning for landing.. Once I am done with that I will surely be back to help everyone here...

Cheers!
