Just got an email from VFS with following text:

We would like to inform you that your processed passport or a letter has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office, on 17 Mar 2015 to the Canada Visa Application Centre.

Could there be something wrong? I submitted my passports on last Friday to VFS. VFS delivered those passports to London Visa office on Friday evening. So technically Visa office opened my passports / application only yesterday. Is it possible that they have stamped my passport and returned everything in just 1 day?

Considering Visa office is only about 30 minutes away from VFS, our passports should be ready for collection later today!

Yeah, you can collect your passports tomorrow in between 2-4PM.
Same message got updated for me yesterday and today i collected my passports from VFS Bangalore.

Yeah, you can collect your passports tomorrow in between 2-4PM.
Same message got updated for me yesterday and today i collected my passports from VFS Bangalore.

Did they send you any further messages such as "Your passport is ready for collection at VFS"

I had an untimely and unfortunate death of my Father this week. I am still waiting for my MR. My timelines are noted on the left. Should I raise a CSE to NDVO about my Father's demise?

Please advise.

The status update sounds very scripted. Dont thing there is anything to worry mate.
I hope you PPS is ready for collection today or by tomorrow.

No they dint send any further message, but they gave the passports when i went to VFS.
It will take only 1 day for passport to reach VFS after dispatch from Visa Office.
