My online visa application shows the passport is getting processed in New Delhi but the Sms message from DM-INFOO shows the file is being transferred to Bangalore office . Where is the passport now :) The passport was submitted on march 6th in Hyderabad. anyone has similar time line?

Same in my case. It shows nearest Visa office(mine is Chandigarh) on mobile and mail. but NDVO in online tracking.

ME and my wife are going to land on 31st March to canada.
Now, As Proof of funds we're thinking to take $CAD 3000 cash and $CAD 6000 as Bank draft.
Other than that we will show balance of $CAD 8000 in our Indian bank account.
So total is $CAD 17000. Is it fine?
Or we need to take minimum balance $CAD 15000 as per CIC requirement in proof of funds?

you are set ,,,,that would be perfect
ha[ppy landing

Buddy as per my experience they are not checking anything for past surgeries they just asked verbally and what to reveal and what not just ask your family friend as they have your urine and blood to test so I am not sure how much they will reveal ... here test was like ... blood test , urine test , blood pressure test , xray , weight , hight and eyes test so just ask your family doctor about it .. they will suggest you better then us .... but i am sure for TB they will ask you to get some more tests done but the best pasrt is you can complete those tests on the same day ... If the X-Ray give then some indication of TB then will ask you to go for test in 3-4 months duration ... TB scares them more then anything not sure why :)

Hi all

Been a while. Just sharing that I received the PR card in my hands Monday (16-Mar). And so, this phase of waiting ends.

Congratulations on your baby.

First raise a CSE to you VO and advise them of the change in your family composition. They will get back with all the forms.

Your baby needs a passport hence you will have to go through whatever changes it needs to have that in place. In the process if your and your wife's passport also have to be changed, its no problem. You can share those details also along with your VO.

For a family of 3, the POF are around CAD 18,000. Also you will have to pay CAD 150 application fee for having the baby added to your application.

Hello,

It would be grateful, if somebody please help me to sort this out. I am new to this forum.

I have received my PER mail on 2nd Feb and waiting for my MR. Just few days back I was blessed with a baby. My doubts are below;

1)What are the procedures for adding my baby in to my application?
2)Me and wife has not endorsed spouse name in our passport. For applying my child passport, parent's passport should be endorsed with spouse name. So if we add this now, will that be a problem? Because, we have given the passport copy without spouse name endorsed while applying.
3)Is there any change in showing fund, when we include our child?

My wife had TB, back in 2004, she got the medicine for 8 months, now completely cured. No signs now in Chest X ray (TB Back in 2005 won't have problem in medicals, she will be required to go for additional tests which will ultimately delay your application. you need to carry past documents, if they are retained. Also you cannot hide this from the doctor because past TB scar will be visible in the present x-ray) . She had following surgeries

1) Caesarean section = No problem
2) bartholin Abscess (minor operation) = No problem
3) tonsils operation (routine operation)= No problem
4) Breast Abscess (minor operation)= Reasons behind abscess will be searched out. May be required to go for pap smear. If found negative, then no problem
5) Hernia (not the major one) = No problem

Age 36 years

She has high blood pressure (takes Norvasc 5 mg) and thyroid (takes thyroxine 50 mg). ECG, Creatinine and Cholesterol is normal= High blood pressure and thyroid will not create any problem till the time her creatinine, ECG are normal. She may be required to go for both these tests again along with echo.

You cannot hide anything during her medical from the Physician because her surgical marks will still be visible. This is sure that she will pass all her medicals but she would be required many additional tests.

Kindly advice, will this effect in MR

Responded in text. All the best !!!

That GIF is hilarious!

Hope u get PPR soon.

This part of the process is not clearly outlined anywhere on CIC.
CAD 8000 in Indian bank account is what's I am not sure of.
Why would you not want to take it all as bank draft/travelers cheque apart from the one you are carrying in cash?
Are you planning to return back or something?

I would love to take all of them but just not sure if i take it more than $10000 then there will be any issue?
Can you give me idea of what to do if i want to take it all?
