Hello All,

Need some assistance.

As our Canadian PR process is under process now, I (spouse of primary) have chance for filing a USA H1-B permit for 2015. If applied and approved I will have to apply for H1-B visa and my spouse (Primary Applicant) for H4 visa. And also, start working in USA by Oct 1st or little later.

So my questions are:

1.) Since timeline of both processes are almost parallel, will that be an issue with CIC or local VO and should they be informed about this and when should that happen.
2.) Also, if PR process is not finished by my joining date in US of Oct 1st, can we both travel to USA and will that affect the process in any ways ?

Please let me know what should be my decision. At one hand PR process is important and on other hand it is one time chance to file H1-B. I am in some dilemma.

My time line so far:

Appl sent date: 21 Nov 2014
PER mail date: 12 Feb 2015

Thanks.

Bro,
1. you Dont need to inform vo anything now. You can inform them when you are leaving for US as that would be a change in your location as well as job.
2. several of our forumites have travelled and no it won't affect your process. The only thing is if you stay in US for more than 6 months at the time of MR then you might be asked for FBI PCC.

So my suggestion is to go ahead with the H1 process. Anyway you first need to get through lottery and then stamping. It is a long way and by gods grace you will get PR before that.

Hi,

I was told that physician will send the eMedicals to cic.
but i see in some of the posts that we need to send the eTracking sheet from our side.
Is it necessary to send eTracking sheet?
if so to which email id can i scan and send the eTracking sheet.
I am yet to get the request for RPRF.

Thanks for your time to reply my query.

Kris2132 :)

Got my Passports back with visa...

Hi,
There is no update for my application other than PER.It's been more than four months since I received file number. I have just 67 points and I have submitted balance certificate along with initial application. However, my student visa was rejected few yrs back thatt I mentioned on fsw application.
Guys, what do you think? Could above resons be the cause of delay?
Plz comment on this.

Doctor personally checks for surgery marks on your body and checks Abdomen, Chest and Back with his Stethoscope.
Followed by a set of general questions on Existence of TB and Fits in the family( if applicable), Hospitalization details if any, Jaundice , Any Medication that you might be on etc.
Hello Chinkoo and friends,
Is there blood sugar fasting included in the medical?
What if we already done chest Xrays as part of the annual physical exams in our office? It has been not a year since the last xray. I know that there should be at least an interval of 1 year for the xrays...
Also, is ECG a part of the medical also?
Friends, please give light.
Thank you.

Hi Subash,

Temporary visa rejection will not impact your FSW application, its just the backlog at NDVO that may be causing the delay, as you have received your PER it means you have sufficient points and are eligible.
However the points calculation is done at your local visa office, Its very rare that Local visa office will reject your file for insufficient point , however in casse they feel you do not have sufficient points they cannot reject your file without giving you and opportunity to present the proof that you have sufficient points.

Student Visa is not at all a reason for delay ant it will not impact your application unless it was rejected due to some serious reasons.

You are still required to do an X-ray via CIC Designated Medical practioctioner , however you can talk to your DMP if he accepts the X-ray report which is very very unlikely as per my understanding
Also, is ECG a part of the medical also? No ECG is not a part of Routine Visa medicals unless the DMP identifies High BP or suspects something
Friends, please give light.
Thank you.

Hi kris2132

Technically you are supposed to send Section-A copy of your medicals to VO however the VO will only update the medicals received status based on what the get from the DMP
your e-medical centre will give you the acknowledgement and which you can upload via case specific enquiry or send it along your PCC/RPRF DD

Thank you for your response.+1 from me for your contribution on the forum.
As I know, few applicants got rejected even after PER and they were not given a chance to explain what actually has happened to them. They got deceision made status on their ecas prior MR. Do you know the reason?
