Hi seniors, need your suggestion.

We had to send additional docs to NDVO. What do you suggest

1. Do we raise a CSE and attach the scanned copies and submit

or

2. Do we send the docs in courier to NDVO writing a cover letter mentioning the reasons for sending etc.

I sent all the docs. by courier with a Cover Letter and the action from NDVO was quick. It was having a DD for name addition of my new born which was encashed within 3 days of receipt of all the docs.

In case of CSE they will respond in 30 days or so.

I also figured out that, instead of mentioning VO NDVO I had mentioned Abu Dhabi.

Just to update I received my Stamped Visa in 9 days , so Validity is 1 year from date of medicals we do,

Timelines: Application sent : mat 14th
Med received : Nov 1st week
Passport request : Feb Last week
Password with Visa on March 2nd week.

Please help on below query. There is no Surname (Family Name) in my wife's Passport but by mistake CIC team has kept Given name space blank and under Family name they have put the Given Name sin Medical form IMM 1017E. Can this be corrected at hospital ? Find below screenshot.

this is correct and there is nothing to worry..if there is no family name mentioned in passport then cic puts the given name in family name.

Aug 20th applicant. Second line on Feb 17th. Got MR today. NDVO ;D ..am so very happy.

I am 11 Aug applicant still awaiting 2nd Line Update

generally less than 2 weeks...but depends
it took around 8 days in my case

I have few high lipid above border line and my wife having thyroid. Taking tablet daily.. Is any issue in MR. I am few months away from MR

Hi Deepmanku, Hospital does not check lipid Profile ( assuming you are talking about cholesterol) during medicals. They only check for Blood Pressure.If your BP is higher than 140/90 then they ask you to undergo more tests such as ECG and 2D Echo.

They do not check for Thyroid levels as well. However the doctor does ask if you are on medication for anything and declaring that you taking medicine for thyroid does not effect your medicals. I have Thyroid too and I mentioned it to the doctor and I have cleared my medicals.

It is anywhere 5 - 15 Days. BTW where did you get it done?

Hi, I have few questions regarding passport submission,

1. Do one also need to send expired passport along with the new passport?
2. How someone can send passport to Islamabad office, through FedEx or some other channel?
3. After how many days passport is received back?

It is preferred to send old/cancelled passports along with new passports, though it is not mandatory. I believe even the PPR email do not state it speficically either.

I myself have sent old passports along with new passport on 5/3/15 to CHC-Abudhabi.. I am awaiting passports back any time now..

Doctor personally checks for surgery marks on your body and checks Abdomen, Chest and Back with his Stethoscope.
Followed by a set of general questions on Existence of TB and Fits in the family( if applicable), Hospitalization details if any, Jaundice , Any Medication that you might be on etc.

Bro, I have seen a similar case at my consultant's office. I met a guy at my consultant's office when I was preparing to file my application. His verification failed when NDVO called his employer....and my consultant suggested him to withdraw his app and the guy did the same. That's the reason I have informed him the same which I saw.....N also to show his employment genuine, he can also send additional documents, like Pay slips, salary account bank statement, Form 16, Tax deduction slip, etc,. What say?

Dear Hopeful immigrant, what Jaxon is trying to say is entirely different.
post query if some1 is silently withdrawing an application means accepting mistake which results in rejection and also the same will be weighed in further other visa application filings.
tax deduction....payslips are not an issue for the formites who posted his concern, it's job responsibilities which he edited.

How to pay RPRF fee

1. Two persons ( PA and spouse) (fee should be paid separately or single payment)
2. For us it is CAD 980, it should be paid in CAD only or can I pay in INR ( if INR what is the amount for CAD 980)

3. Can I pay using ICICI bank Credit card

4. plz explain me the process of payment
5. what documents should i save and take print after payment
