Is there anyone on the same boat? I am little worried now.

I submitted on 4th March and still waiting. Mine is also showing the same status. very worried

Dear Vinodh,

Congratulations on your PPR!!

Your situation depends on when you intend to travel. Your wife is only 2 months pregnant. It is not necessary to let the VO know about this if she is travelling with you now. It is advisable for both of you to travel together and good if the child is delivered in Canada, as he/she will be born a Canadian citizen. If your wife has no health problems, she is safe to travel till the 6th month after which the airlines will not allow and is a risk.

Getting a visa and then bringing your child to Canada will be time consuming.

Yes, you can get your PR card, come back and then return after 5-6 months.

All the best!!

Thanks you so much for the reply.

The probability of my wife travelling before child birth is very less as doctor has advised not to travel. I will still check and try to travel between the 5th and 6th month.
But 90% it is not going to happen.

Given this, should I inform the NDVO about pregnancy (she is 2 months pregnant now) while I submit my passport for PPR?

Will that impact the PPR stamp. For e.g. will they ask me to wait till the child is born, before stamping the passport?

Thanks
Vinodh

My husband has epilepsy. He is on medication since last 4 years.

Our agent told us not mentioned this in our application as its not an infectious disease.

I am not sure whether this needs to be mentioned. Plz guide no you dnt have to mention. All they are concerned with is contagious disease.

It looks NDVO again went into hibernate mode !!

Guys really worried ,

Please help me out ...

I had sent the RPRF demand draft and medical sheets to NDVO on 7th March which was received by them on 9th March...

But astonishingly RPRF demand draft is still unpaid.... I am worried because I had sent the updated proof of funds to add my newborn baby.( Can it be a problem ?).. neither they have sent me the medicals for my newborn child...

What is the normal time for the RPRF demand draft encashment by NDVO?
