Submitting passport through VFS Ahmedabad.

I have just submitted passports ( along with Spouse and dependent) through VFS ahmedabad.
Just few things to keep in mind.

Either go early in the morning (9:00 am) or prefer to submit after 12:00 PM due to agents.
Each agent having lots of file and it will take huge amount of time. So, you need to wait for a longer period.
You dont need authorisation letter for your spouse. Out of two photo, you need to write your name and DOB on the back side of one photo.
I have not opted SMS service and it cost me INR 1737 for 3 passports.

When you go for pick up the passport/s, you need to show Passport copy or any other government authorise document for each member. They said it will take 7-12 working days of stamping. And yes, they are not working on Saturday.

i have received MR and RPRF request in a single mail . i have done my medical and went to bank for DD . i provide them medical receipt form and the mail copy that i receive from my vo . but he said need invoice copy and the offer letter . but i did not receive any thing . can anybody tell me what is these? who can i collect it ? i am worried........... plz help.

You can pay RPRF online through credit card.

1. Do i need to inform CIC and NDVO about this?
2. If Yes, how should i inform?

Submitted passports at VFS, New Delhi on 2nd March. Still waiting. The online status still shows "...is being processed at Embassy....".

Is there anyone on the same boat? I am little worried now.

Recieved ou MR, RPRF and PCC request on Mar 14th

Timelines:
App Recd Date at CIC - Aug 15th
PER date - Dec 5th
Second Line - Feb 16th ( Started processing your app on Feb 12Th)
MR, RPRF, PCC - Mar 14th

Just cam to know on sunday that i have borderline sugar. Would it affect my MR in anyway.

My documents were received in Canada on 31st Dec 2014 and there is no information or acknowledgemnt post that.
I have read in some threads that 4011 is not updated since Oct 2014.
Is there any way of checking the status, any email id or helpline number?

Try calling at around 9-10 pm IST. Or then around 2am IST with selecting following options 111 111 31.
You can also email your details at CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca, but average response time is 45-60 days. Voice based is the best option.
