Friends,

My application was received on Aug 20th and PER email received on December 9 for NOC 2171. It has been a wait time so far to get further progress.

Can someone please advise what is possibly going on here.

Regards
Gurjeet

Received passport with visa stamping today (14th March)
:)
I'm glad to announce that I received visa and copr today. At last I'm getting closer to moving to Canada.
Of course there is more work in terms of job, settlement and other preparations, but now the focus is clear.

I wish good luck to all those who received MR, PPRs, etc. Lets all pray for a bright future in Canada. :)

Hi Members,

1- I got New Photos request from London visa office which i am sending in 2 days.

2- Also i forgot to mention my UK visa refusal (2006) in my Schedule A background form while filling my application on Oct-14. Which i decided to update now and send with new photos.

Is it Ok. and visa officer will be fine as i am mentioning it now.

Hello Seniors,

Hope all of you r doing well!

I have an urgent query... How is third line updated ?

I mean to say that whether third line is updated when Panel doctor clears our medicals and send it to the embassy or it is done by the visa officer ?

Who does it ? Panel doctor or Visa officer after medical result from the Panel doctor ?

It is done by the Visa officer after the hospital has uploaded the data and the same has been verified by the VO.

How long does it take to get passport back from NDVO?

I am in USA; I have sent my passport to India with my wife along with authority letter? Could it create problem in stamping?

bhuy

It should not be any problem as you have already make them aware about the refusal of visa just send a letter by mentioning the reason like you have send a lot of docs and in all the hustle and bustle you missed to mention about refusal ... they are humans and will consider your genuine reason ... dont worry you are safe

Hi ,
I am a single parent with two children. i and my husband are legally seperated from 2008. He has not kept in touch neither with me nor with my kids ever since the legal procedure is over.
Together with my medical i have been asked to send the declaration form with my ex husbands signature for travelling with my kids.. As I am not aware where he is now. what should i do
Kindly advise

You should check your divorce decree and check if it has clauses that states about the rights of father and children after your divorce. Check....

1. If it states that you have legal possession of children and have independent right to take decision about children.

2. There is no special clause that father can contact or meet children anytime on his will and wish.

3. All dues has been settled and children can not claim any right/ property/ money ever in future or vice a versa.

4 And or any other crucial clause regarding rights of children.

In case of having such information available in divorce decree, an affidavit stating that you are no more in touch and the other parents has no legal rights for children and above information along with the copy of divorce decree(highlighting those clauses) may suffice the purpose.

But I will strongly recommend you to take openion from an experienced immigration lawyer before taking any action.

Above info is based on an experience of a friend in similar situation. He was able to satisfy the VO with above information and documents 3 years ago.

Hi Members,

1 -I filled my application in October - 2014
2- Received PER on 21 -01 -2015
3- My IELTS expired in February - 2015.

Will I have to retake my IELTS test again or Visa Officer will consider the old one which is expired now.

Any Suggestions please.

No you don't - if you've received your PER, it means your IELTS are fine
