Hi Guys, Need Help!

My wife(and fahter-in-law,mother-in-law) had applied for US visitor visa in Dec-2013 but Visa officer denied the application.
Will that affect my application?
Though, I have already completed MR for me and my wife and waiting for PPR.

Guys, need your suggestion.. Little worried!

Did your wife answer honestly on the background declaration form about the rejection? If so it's probably not a problem.

*In case if some1 forgets Bill while collecting passports: I forgot to take slip (Bill which they give when u pay while submitting PP) today, they said it is mandatory. I requested them then they said give them a letter stating my bill is lost and also mentioned , post this date if i bring back bill then it will be invalid since i already claimed my passport.

Hello Friends.

Congratulations to every one who got MR and PPR and wishing good luck to every one who are waiting for it. me tooo in the line. At present, Only God knows wether Canada is in my destiny or not and time will tell us. so keep on running.

Today i was checking my docs, got to know that I did spelling mistake in the name of the company in the personal history form of schedule A form submitted to CIO.
e.g. in the original document the last name of the company is written as solution but in forms i put it as solutions. (i addedd s after solution which is the name of other company)
also in original documents it is written as Telesystems but on the forms i wrote as tele systems. I put the space between tele and systems.

Thus this small mistakes are going to become big mistakes

and also i did some mistake in writing designation as in the original documents it is written as ASSOCIATE, but in the forms i wrote the designation as Technical Support Executive.

so not sure what is going to happen. Please suggest your comments. what should i do.

Not a big issue. You shouldn't face any problem.

I have received RPPF & PCC request today morning but ECAS still shows single line " we received your application on XXX". Is it normal ?
is MR on the way or will have to wait more till background/security check ?

I saw your notes. Based on notes you have nothing to worry about as they have not yet even started working on you Eligibility, and that's the reason you haven't received MR/2nd line. Notes are a month old so chances are they might started working on your application.

Due date means your application should be finalized before that date. Nothing to be scared of.

Thx a lot. The notes are a month old but I still don't see 2nd line update so they have not started processing my application yet.

Nothing to worry????? People who applied a month later than I did have started getting visas and my application is not even picked up for processing.. How can I not worry?

What I say in my signature below about worrying is easy to say and logical but very difficult to implement

BTW, when will my application be picked up for sending MR/PCC? Any indication on that in my GCMS?

I am delighted to inform you that finally i got my stamped passport back with COPR today from VFS New Delhi.

Complete timeline below:

App Received: 14th May
NOC: 2174
VO: NDVO
PER: 21st Aug
MR/PCC/RPRF: 4th Nov (PCC sent along with MR and RPRF)
Medicals done: 9th Nov
Third line update in ECAS: 15th Nov
Decision Made: 27th Feb
PPR: 27th Feb
Passport Deposited: 2nd March to VFS New Delhi (in person)
Passport Returned: 12th March from VFS New Delhi (in person)

Thanks to all my dear forum members for a sincere advice every time i had a doubt.

For all my friends who are waiting for MR/DM/PPR/Passport return, i wish you a speedy stamping.

Hello All,
I need some information so please help if you can: On the 20th of October 2014, my FSW application was delivered to the CIC Office(I got this information from DHL). I applied for the job field NOC 2173, "Software engineers or designers". Since then, I have not heard anything from CIC. Neither did I yet receive an email saying that my application has been accepted for further processing nor did I get my application package back, which would mean my application has been rejected.

I read in a forum that by September 2014, NOC 2173 got capped. Can some one help me understand whether my current situation states that my application has been rejected for sure and it is only a matter of time that I get my package back. Or is it that nothing can be said at this point of time?

Please let me know if any of you have any answer for my situation.
