Usually the Visa Validity is one year from your meds, unless you have a passport which is going to expire soon.

Hi I am back after almost 3 months in this forum!!!

As I have already shared, by almighty's grace I and my spouse have got the most precious immigration visa for Canada in Dec 2014.

I wish everyone here to get a positive response on their application.. I know how it feels to wait.. i used to hang in here almost hours before i got my visa , refreshing my email account every now and then. and Congratulations to everyone whose dream has come true....
I must say all the forum members are very helpful and thank you everyone for all your support..

We are planning to move to Vancouver by the end of July/ August 2015

Any one in this forum planning to go to Vancouver? I know almost more than 90% of the immigrants are flocking to Totonto...

I am thinking of opening a new discussion on "landing in Vancouver" what do you say? so that we can help ourselves in finding residence, amenities,
job prospects...

Has anyone provided the same address for correspondence and residence in his application and his E-cas page showed any change regarding adding the 2 fields on the page ? Many have reported that the residence address has been added next to the mailing address in case of providing different addresses. But I wonder whether it happened for those who had provided the same address.

I know that's way I was surprised. Moreover my first apply was missing..

But I always thought that Canadian PCC [RCMP Report] is never required. I have lived in Canada for nearly 5 years. Does that mean that I would have to produce PCC now? I remember that while filling the form CIC advises to get PCC from all countries except Canada..how did this change now?

I feel as if I have received my own MR
the reason is that I've been waiting for the same for as long as or perhaps longer than you did
I sense mine will knock at the door, at any time, very very optimistic really...
