Hat's off on you ability to seek out information so well.
Almost as if you were an insider ;D ;D
+1 due, karmafied.

I am pursuing my second Master's in Political Science field majoring in IR, so I might seek employment with CIC or DFATF after graduation actually :)
But now my thoughts are with you guys, and I hope this extra information will render the immigration process less stressful for the applicants.

+1 rvp_deltario for your commitment to this community

Congrats on you PPR deep.
Did you also get e-CAS updated to DM?

Express Entry is how CIC will seek applicants for 2015. FSW will not be run parallel.

I second that...only Express Entry...no FSW

It is my pleasure to be of assistance. +1

This is how security check looks like.

Most applicants have nothing to fear.
The latest statistics available (2010) indicates that:

Out of 276,600 security screenings performed only 415 briefs (adverse information) were issued. That's 0,01%

Hello friends...

My application was received by CIC in September 2014. Got PER on the 6th January 2015. My VO is Pretoria.
My ECAS still saying In Process and the detail is saying '' We received your application for PR on the 17th 09 2014. No update...nothing then after.

Is this normal??? Any advice?

555 to you Diplo....That was a wonderful info. :)

I wish you all the best for your future endeavors :)
I believe once part of CIC, we can’t expect much info from you since you would be part of them and data confidentiality will automatically avoid you from posting 8).
So, this is the time we should get as much as our queries and inputs from you :P

Hats off to your knowledge buddy :)

Got some great news this morning "Decision Made"!

I would like to thank everyone on this forum who had been able to help either directly or indirectly. I have been mostly a silent observer but I can say the advice shared on this forum is very valuable.

Timeline as follows:
Application rec'd - July'14
1st Line PER - Nov'14
AOR - Dec'14
2nd Line- Jan'15
MR, RPRF, PPR and 3rd Line - Feb'15
4th Line - Mar'14

This has been a very speedy process for me and my applaud to the CIC officers. My total processing time was just under 8 months, BRAVO!

I wish everyone a speedy process and do keep the patience. I knw a day can sometimes seem like a week but in the end patience is virtue.

God bless.

Chris
