I had submitted my PP one week back through VFS
Still havent yet received mine.
Also I have withdrew 1lac from my back account due to emergency and have around 7lac+
Will VO check bank details when stamping Passport?

Thanks bud. So did you finally reach out to the bank and get this clarified?

Those moving to CANADA can open a Canadian dollar account after receipt of visa and copr. The account will be with Scotia bank in Canada and Indian partner is Kotak Mahindra bank under star right program. Kotak bank has International Account branches in major cities of India.

Scotia bank also has branches at New Delhi,Bangalore,Mumbai. The account can be opened within 6 month of departure and before 15 days of landing.

The account shall be activated only when one lands in Canada and contacts the Scotia bank. If one does not land in Canada with in 6 month the account shall be closed.

For those who do not wish to carry cash ,this is the best solution .The bank statement can be shown while landing as proof of settlement funds,if so demanded by Immigration Officer.

But is this could be the posible reason for delay in my MR. I mean they could have checked my passport numbers and found out that these passport numbers are not valid or inexisting.

No that should not be a reason for delay. Otherwise also VO will ask you to submit the copies of Bio pages of passport again at the time of MR

Fear not. PP may be delayed due to Holi off at VO.

Hi guys,

Is there any pattern to how NDVO is issuing the PPR.
I see some people with Jan MR already getting PPR ( happy for them ), whereas some with Dec MR are still waiting.

My MR came on 31st dec and 3rd line update was on 24th Jan. Still no DM or PPR :-(

NO Dhyanm they dont verify funds during visa stamping .relax your COPR and passport with visa is on the way. get ready for party and landing

We havent gathered data on SS to draw out a pattern clear enough but I think the below parametres are affecting PPR/ DM issuance.

- PCC not asked at MR stage and the one shared with application sufficed.
- Number of people on the application.
- Number of international travels.

but in your case if second line is updated means it is positive and you can oder gcm notes which will clear all your doubts

What is a GCM?
How it can help applicant to clear the doubts whos second line is already updated?

No need to worry for fund now. VO can not check for bank balances. Wish you speedy delivery of your PPs with CoPR.

Hi, PER to MR solely depends from which VO your file is being processed.

As for your profession, it is not regulated in Canada and for most provinces for that matter. Hence, there is no licensing required.
