I have submitted my passport to NDVO, yesterday.

Instead of filling up the information chart in passport request letter; I created the same format in excel and typed it; and then provided it is a separate sheet. Could it create problem?

Lots of May/June applicants are waiting for MR since 4-5 months after 2nd line update..........like me.....

What may be the reason for such delays? End of hope for them...?

Otherwise , when NDVO will deliver MR for them?

Also send along a print of the requirements email you got from the VO.

RPRF online receipt needs to be filled for the missing details with a Pen. Specially your UCI/File number.
Meds ack copied can be sent across. Originals not needed.
PP Bio pages copies without notary is fine.
Spouse service notice period, not needed. In my opinion don't unnecessarily give additional docs to VO. Let her be relieved and for all you know you have you DM by then.

Got my medical done yesterday. It was a smooth process. Hopefully the results turn out fine.
They told they will upload results in 2 days.

Can you pls confirm the following is correct that has to be sent to NDVO?
1. Original pcc for self and spouse
2. RPRF payment receipt ( Should I fill anything in this? It seems incomplete).
3. Medicals bill payment - should this be photocopy or original?
4. Renewed passport bio pages - should this be notarized?
5. Spouse is serving notice period at work. So, a cover letter to inform the same, as the relieving letter is not yet received.

Anything else that I have missed?

Can someone tell me, that is it compulsory to have a minimum of 1 year of validity in passport at the time of ppr????

Minimum validity of passport has to be 6 months for the visa to be issued. Better to have atleast 1 yr as that gives you that much more time to prepare for landing.

hope some-one would be able to give their views about this. I had submitted my arranged employment documents along with Post graduate work permit and few days back I had received an email to submit 6 months transaction statements to show the settlement funds and having only 30 days for it.

Since I came to know about this after receiving PER so I was not ready for it, if I make all the transactions now in one account from different sources (like foreign currency, sold gold, emergency cash) within 15 days , (I have made the transactions in one account already) The account has been active for 2 years but I have made major transactions to show the required amount in two weeks.

will it going to effect the visa officer decision?

Yes that should not be a problem. You can land in any place in Canada except Quebec.

Just came to know that my application was returned due to the cap being filled up for NOC 2171. They have sent the application on 2nd Feb 2015 and I haven't received it yet. I received the email response from CIC search enquiry to my query that I had sent.

Seems Express Entry is now my last ray of hope. Thank you everyone who guided me filling up the application. Truly appreciated the help I received on this forum. All the best for all others!

Same here, submitted my passport to VFS New Delhi on March 2nd and online status shows "is being processed".

I hope we get the status change by end of the day today.
