please help guys,


My ECAS went live today and as per my ecas it says my application was received on 1st Jan 2015 but as per canada post delivery certificate my application was received by cic on 29th Dec 2014. My concern is that, as per cic website it says application received after 31st dec will be returned, will they return my file or it's just a error from cic end. friends kindly suggest my what should do in that case.

ECAS going live it's already a very good sign. Usually within 10 days you should get your PER.

If you have a certificate saying the 29th, I wouldn't worry too much about it. The call center will just say your application was received the 1st.

You could send an email to the CIO just to be sure. Use the CSE SS on my signature for instructions. But your PER will come before their answer.

Seniors please assist with your advice!!!!!

NOC - 1212, CIC app received date - Dec18, Payment mode - DD

I checked with my bank and as off Mar 3rd my DD has still not been en-cashed. I called CIC yesterday and the agent asked me only for my full name and date of birth. After checking he told me that he is not able to locate my details in the system. What does this mean?????? Is my package not yet opened itself????? DHL has confirmed the delivery so I hope CIC has not lost or forgotten my application.

Anyone else has a similar experience or know of someone who has encountered the same??? I remember seeing a post from a UK applicant who also applied on the same NOC and app reached CIC on Dec18 and his DD en-cashed on Feb20. Any advise appreciated (just to keep me from going nuts) :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-X :-X :-X :-X

You don't have to apply for PR card, CBSA officer will do at the time of landing. COPR with photo is your application for PR card, which officer will take away after completing formalities. Another copy, the one without photo, is our copy.

PR takes about 5-7 weeks to receive.

Next is "Decision Made" from a status perspective. Sometimes you might get the PPR mail before the status changes. Hold tight...

Lots of May/June applicants are waiting for MR since 4-5 months after 2nd line update..........like me.....

What may be the reason for such delays? End of hope for them...?

Otherwise , when NDVO will deliver MR for them?
