Guys need some advice.

At the time of landing, can we show the POF in INR currency in the form of bank statements/FD's ?
Or its it must to have the POF in CAD?

Experiences from the people who have already landed will be really helpful

For opening CAD account with a bank in INDIA ,you need proof of canada address . You cannot have this before reaching canada. The scotia bank has tied up with Kotak Bank for opening a CAD account for students as the scotia bank pays to universities out of this account.

Dear Forum Members

Can I pay fee of CAD 150/- online by using CC through CIC website to add of my newborn in the application? The On line payment receipt can then be couriered to LVO with additional documents. Or I have to get DD for this purpose. Please advise as online fee payment is more convenient.

Hi All,

I am a 5th Sep 2014 applicant and still waiting for MR since 78 Days. I have recently got my new passport issued. Should i inform LVO about it or should i wait till i get medical request, and later on inform the VO about it along with the Biopage of new passport?

Don't send any communication now. Wait till MR

Not surprised if NDVO didn't acknowledge back.

Post per, do you have a 2nd line on your E-CAS?
if not then expect a 90-120 day window for that to show up from app received date and post it meds are requested mostly within 7-30 days of 2nd line.

My PCC Time line was 05th March. I had to get 3 PCCs, but unfortunately 1 PCC got delayed and received today Only. Already submitted Medical, RPRF, & Other PCCs on 5th March. Also, Kept one affidavit from Inda regarding the 3rd PCC. What I have to do with the PCC which i received today? Have to Send directly to NDVO or get the Lawyers Covering Letter & Send along with that? Pls advice

Send it with a cover letter from your own end. No need for lawyer's letter.

PPR received today

My colleage is submitting passport on behalf of me and my family, do he have to carry any additional documents apart from passports, photos, PPR email letter and family information mentioned in PPR mail?

Congrats for PPR. The documents you have to send has already been mentioned by you. Just to add that you need to mention your Name/PP No and DOB at the back of your photos.
Also, a coverletter always looks nice.

Anyone please guide me how to get the US PCC from India , i heard that its going to take more than 14 weeks , kindly advice .

I got my PER on 5th Feb , so am not sure how to go ahead to get the PCC quickly .

Also to mention, that as per instructions from LVO, we have to submit our passports and 2 recent photos for each family member for visa stamping to Abu Dhabi Canadian Embassy (since we live in Dubai), not to London Office, so extremely happy that visa will be ready faster then we expected!!!!!!!!!
