Will all applications be processed with in 1 year of their individual submission date ??

We hope so and that is the goal, but there is no guarantee. Some cases take longer.

Your process will continue as normal.
You can put a request for GCMS notes or CSE (Case specific enquiry). they provide all the details. Typically it takes a minimum of 30 days to get the reply. In the meantime if you file moves ahead, it is good. If not then at least you will know where it is stuck.
Hi FuturCanadian.
We just called up CIC. The application was received in VO Manila on OCt. 30, 2014. Since that was the only we could get from the call center agent, he sent us an email so we can send our inquiry directly to the VO.
We'll be trying the GMCS also in a few days. Maybe, the VO will know that we really know what's happening and we are insistent to know the update and "specific status". Because we inquired from the website (it says: "In Process"). If we're lucky we'll get a reply n 28 days from the e-cas.
Please enlighten and comment on this.
I noticed that there was an application which arrived VO on Dec. 2014; yet the case received its' Visa already.
Thank you, friends!

None reported today.

I think, Monday's & Tuesday's they are keeping for Visa issuance. As the flow of PPR has increased, I am sure, the Passport's being received also would be creating a pile.

May be thats the reason....

You may not take this seriously but they do. Its a part of their Eligibility/Background check to verify truthfulness of information you submitted. If they found counterfoil then they may transfer your application to senior officer for review. GCMS notes show like this "Online search Conducted: No concerns found or Concerns found".

Nice inputs...Thanks +1

Hi All,

Just wanted to.update on PCC from Chennai PSK, India.

If we don't have a formal work order, we can't go in walkin mode to psk to apply for pcc.

Even though we show them the email attachment that request pcc, they want us to book appointment.

We didn't book an appointment and just walked in (as suggested by passport call center)
With god's grace, we were able to convince those guys after lot of talking and got it the same day (passport has current address updated).

Hope it helps!

Good luck all...

Hello Friends,

My application reached CIO on 26 NOV 2014 but still I am not been charged. I have applied under NOC-2281(Computer Network Technician). Its more than 12 weeks now and I haven't got any response so far.

This is a second time I have sent my application as first I applied on 2 SEP 2014 and due to not enclosing photocopies of my academic docs together with my credential assessment report, the application was returned on NOV and same

Somebody has already answered two pages back! Once again i'm very sorry to inform you, the NOC cap filled on 21st Nov2014. You'll receive your package back shortly. Go through the pages again.

Dear seniors please help me. Today I have received an email from SVO which is as follows:

From:
Date:
To
Subject: Canada Immigration FSW
Date: March 9, 2015
Application:

Dear Applicant,

I have assessed your application and there is insufficient evidence to show that you meet the minimal requirements as per subsection 75(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. Subsection 75(2) states that a foreign national is a skilled worker if:

(a) within ten years preceding the date of their application for a permanent resident visa, they have at least one year of continuous full-time employment (30 hours/week) experience, or the equivalent in continuous part-time employment in one or more occupations, other than a restricted occupation, that are listed in Skill Type 0 Management Occupations or Skill Levels A or B of the National Occupational Classification matrix;

(b) during that period of employment they performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation as set out in the occupational descriptions of the National Occupational Classification; and

(c) during that period of employment they performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational descriptions of the National Occupational Classification, including all of the essential duties.

I am not satisfied that you meet all three parts of these requirements. You have provided insufficient evidence to satisfy me that you have performed the action described in the lead statement, and a substantial number of the main duties, of the occupation as set out in NOC 1212 Supervisors, finance and insurance office workers.

If you have any additional information to add to your application you should forward this to our office within thirty (30) days of the date of this email and send it to our office by email, fax, or mail, using the address in the signature block below.

If you do not respond to this request within 30 days, your application will be assessed based on the information currently on file and may result in the refusal of your application.

Along with application I sent experience certificate where my job descriptions was stated and my job duties are more than 70% matched with that of NOC 1212.Now I am confused, what additional information should I send to satisfy them? Please advise me.

Sorry to hear this. If the officer isn't satisfied and they didn't say WHY they're not satisfied, think of the reasons why they might not be satisfied and address all of them. Some reasons could be:

-- The person writing your letter was not credible or was not in a position to know your duties
-- The job duties were described in a way that it was not clear to the reader that they are a match for your NOC (don't assume the VO understands your industry or its technical terms)
-- You did not match all of the duties mentioned in the lead statement (from other cases it seems they want to match the lead statement entirely rather than just "substantially")
-- You did not match enough of the duties in the description of duties
-- The VO wanted to see other supporting evidence (tax returns, pay slips, anything) and you didn't provide enough

Maybe you can think of some other possible deficiencies. You may consider asking for a clarifying letter from the person who wrote your original letter or a supporting letter from a second person. Go through the language to make sure it is absolutely clear to the reader who is not in your field that it is a match. Try to mention more of the duties if you can do so honestly. Provide as much documentation if you can especially if you have old documents from the company (internal memos, press releases, e-mails, project paperwork, anything) that would support your case.

Good luck!

I think my analysis was right...
There could be PPR mails shower starting tomorrow or by 11 March....
Hoping I get lucky this time...

Hi FuturCanadian,
Thank you for your reply.
We called up CIC a while ago. The Agent told us that the VO received it on Oct. 30, 2014. Since it was the only info he could give us, he sent us an email so we can send our inquiries directly to the VO.
Since we inquired from the website and sent an inquiry to the e-cas, we’ll get a reply in 28 days if we’re lucky given a response.
We'll also try the GMCS.
Maybe this way, the VO will be given a heads up and the case will be given the preferential attention this time considering that we are exhausting all possible means of knowing the status / “specific inquiry” and we seem to be really eager for the facilitation of the processing as compared to the average processing time.
Are we correct on this thought? Please enlighten and comment.
Thank you, friends.
