what can do if you lost your passport with unused pr visa?

Inform NDVO about the loss immediately .
Make a New Passport
Send it back to NDVO and they may require you to pay for the additional VISA

Their intent is to understand if you misrepesented your application.
Go back with this explanation, I feel it makes sense. As a layman, the understanding of rejection is when it's accordingly notated.
Not your fault.

Myself and Mywife we both have submitted or MR few days back .

Friday we have received an email From CIC LON , asking an explanation for not mentioning about US visa rejection back in 2013 . I have applied for USA visa as a dependent from UK when my wife was doing her masters . But the VO at US embassy took about 2 mins reading my application and suggested to re apply after my wife was issued with H1 . WE never tought this was a rejection , as there was no rejection stamp or a Letter issued By US embassy. may be we misunderstood the visa process for USA . I want to explain the same . Can this result in rejection ? did anyone had similar experiences??

Need help about landing..

I have a query on taking settlement funds to Canada. I checked with Kotak Mahindra and ICICI Bank.As per the banks one cannot open a foreign currency account in india without canada address proof.The scotia bank tie up with Kotak bank is for students where scotia bank transfers the fee to the university every semester/pays to student every month.
Can some body answer what proof of funds to show at point of entry in canada . Can i carry CAD 10000 and rest as copy of FD with a bank in India.

If you sent across your PCC along with meds, there could be a linkage in the delay.
For GCMS, there are 2 ways to do it.
1) Apply yourself through a friend or relative in Canada for a fee of CAD 5. (Why, beacuse a physical canadian address is mandatory)
2) If you dont have someone in Canada, reachout to 3rd party companies who do it on your behalf. (google for the various sites)

Doing it your slef -
- Have a CC to pay CAD 5 online handy. Signed and Scanned copy of "IMM5744E" (Consent for access to information) handy.

- Visit - https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip

- Watch video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_E_dq_uLVo) to get assistance of navigatign the page.

Once request is submitted, you will get a ack mail. Request will be completed by or close to the 30th calendar day.

Hi Members,
I checked my ECAS status today which is showing my 2 address now as follows:

Left side: My current home address

Right Side: My Current mailing address

( i filled in my application both different addresses)

Few days ago it was showing only single mailing address at right side. My time line is on left side panel.

Any Ideas?????

I wonder whether anyone have his ecas updated with the same manner in case of providing the same address for mailing and residency !
