I have done small analysis for the Aug applicant who are awaiting MR. Below is the screen shot for you kind review. I think this week MR will be released to all members who has got 2nd line updated after 10th Feb.

VO --- NDVO
App recvd -- Aug 1 2014
PER recvd -- NOV 28 2014
PCC sent -- Dec 24 2014
Second line updated -- Jan 20 2015
Meds Reqst -- JAN 29 2015
Meds Done -- Feb 3 2015
RPRF sent along with medicals and got encashed.
Third line updated -- Feb 11 2015

In the request letter they mentioned all doc are to submitted by March 15 2015,

Appreciate your help if you can let me know when can i expect our PPR...

Lets hope today is no different.

Dear Members,

I have couple of questions please respond.

1) I might be travelling by the end of this month to Malaysia alone. I have still not got my PPR, 3rd line updated on Feb 4th. First I am worries I have still not got my PPR request. Would it be possible to submit my passport to Indian Embassy at Malaysia when I get my PPR request? And send my wife's PP to NDVO? Or should i also submit at NDVO?

2) I am planning to go to Canada for a week after visa and provide my friend's address for PR. And ask him to courier it once he gets it. Is it safe enough? Or please suggest if there is any other way?

3) Does my wife also needs to come along with me? or can she come to Canada at a later time for her dependent PR? Also does she also have to travel within 1 year for the PR?

Hi avk3884,

- Best to submit both your passports to NDVO.
- Yes you can gives friends address for PR and he can securely transit it along to you. BTW, as of now a new PR card takes 22 days for issuance, so maybe if you stretch your stay a couple of week or so more, you can collect it in person.
- Dependants can come along later also but not before the Primary applicant has entered and completed immigration. Her Visa would also have a valid upto date by when she needs to enter and claim residency (would be the same as the date for your visa).

1. I'm submitting my PP to VFS toady, how long does it take to stamp the VISA or is it a waiting game as before (like a long wait after MR)?
2. Apart from the personal belongings, what are the documents required/requested at the time of Landing.
3. How long does i take to receive the PR card after Landing?

Seniors/forum mates who have already landed, Please respond, i guess these are some points to be prepared or known at any stage of application.

1. The TAT quoted by VFS is 5 working days.
2. List of goods to follow, declaration of cash and jewellery (if any)... Members who have landed can add more data here.
3. It takes 3-6 weeks to get the PR card after landing. Currently, the CIC website quotes 22 calender days as the TAT.

Hi friends,

I am 12th May applicant NDVO 2173
PER on sep 2
processing started on nov 8
Update schedule A form declaration requested on dec 2 to be submitted by jan 31
After that till now i have not heard anything from cic.
i have alredy sent an enquiery about the status and intimation of updated docs.
Are they still processing my file or shall i apply for Express entry.
seniors guide me.
